I think it's detrimental if a hurdler takes 7 steps. Trammell took 8 steps and still got out like a rocket; he really needs to stop hitting hurdles. Trammell would be so good.

seven step is the way of the future... u can see this by the two hurdlers that seven step...DAYRON ROBLES and ANTWON HICKS.now robles has superb technique while antwons is terrible.but notice no one in the hurdles has trammels start I MEAN NO ONE! but the seven step of robles allows him to negate the advantage of Trammels awesome quick start to where both of them r gettin to the first hurdle at the same time.soon & i mean very soon robles will have the most powerful & quickest start of all time!

as for antwon hicks... i cant believe how hes running 13.40-13.09 wit his technique. his seven step stride keeps him up with the best but... in my honest opinion this guy has the most potential to improve!! he has a slow rhythm,*a flat High school newb trail leg*,old skool form, and doesnt really use his arms thats jus some, but if he can correct his errors he could be in th 13.10-12.90 range wit ease.
