  • Panic attacks, loss of appetite, the feeling of living life outside your body, the feeling of living in a dream, continuous negative thoughts, troubling and obsessive thoughts, excessive stress and worry, trouble sleeping. You are not alone. There are many others who have these experiences. I USE TO, but NO longer have them. I found what worked. I am NOT SELLING anything, I just want to share the process that freed me of anxiety. Please watch my intro. video for more info! Thanks, Stay positive!

  • I really liked the analogy you used about trying to get rid of the negative thoughts. I didn't realize that I was making it worse by always saying to myself "don't freak out, don't have a panic attack" etc.Although I know I shouldn't worry about having one, I find it difficult not to. After I have my club's meeting thursday nights I immediately start thinking "I really hope I don't have an anxiety attack next week" I don't know how to rid myself of these worries they are constantly on my mind.

  • this helped aww man i have it again got to exsited

  • I have anxiety disorder i hate it:(

  • After one attempt I realized that this method uses the very real concept that "hind sight is always 20/20". But by the time it's hind sight it's too late usually. This method actually changes that. It gives you hind sight about the future, now. I've applied it to the fear of not being able to function without certain addictive medications. I'll see how it all plays out but right now it feels like the difference is substantial. Im out of bed and going to face my work and the world now. Thank

  • Very helpful. Thank you. Ive been meditating for spiritual purposes and it was not difficult to apply this model. I think deep meditation is needed

  • I wish you were my therapist. i wish you would talk about the physical symptoms of anxiety and how it works and how to prevent them. plz respond

  • I all the time have the worry that I will stop loving my partner or that I will loose him... IT's silly but it's here...I cannot let go that thought. If I suceed to let it go and go back to normal, after some time if I remember of that thoughts it comes again into my reality and can't go away.

  • Yes in fact , the less you think and the less you want

will make you less anxious and in turn make you happier

  • Amazing stuff! Thank you SOOOO much for posting this! :x

  • I have suffered with panic attacks for 15 years and all the counseling, medication and books I have purchased within the 15 years just masked the fear, never eliminated it for good. The only program that has given me long term success was Barry Joe McDonaghs Panic Away program. Thank you so much Barry for changing my life. My 15 year battle with panic attacks is now a thing of the past.

  • I seem to remember Milton Erickson using "reverse psychology" once in a while in his hypnotherapy. He would say something like, "I don't want you to resolve this problem too fast." And the person would end up resolving the problem in a day or so.

  • dude what i did was play video games and relax for a couple of days and the worry goes away

  • and imagine you have to give a speech to a 100 ppl over at where you work tomorrow. You still gonna play video games for a while to calm you donw? well, I dont think so.

  • @1234Colt na that doesnt scare me anymore pretty much all my anxietys gone bro

  • What if.......you do the opposite: for example if you want inner peace why not explore and try to say I "DON"T" want inner peace just like you said "DON"T" think of a tree.

Is the power of don't as strong as the power of do?

I don't want anyone to read this and think it is a great point....... :)

Thank you for your video. I wish you prosperity and happiness or ....... "DON'T" :) :) :)

  • The answer is, enter into the exploration in whatever state you are in...and then step by step, drop it all....except the awareness. Keep aware, and drop everything else. For a time.

  • Wow, man, you´re so great. For some moments I thought you were talking to me, so lively are you.

  • I think that "Don't think about something" example has connotations with reverse psychology (Especially considering you used the word "have"). I think the real reason behind it is simply that words are tied to visuals. If someone hears you mention something then their mind translates the audio into the visual it's connected to in order to give it meaning.

I contend that saying "Think about something" or just mentioning it would have the same effect.

Eh, just throwing something out there.

  • but i mean if u just do a normal day without thinking of anything just focus on what you are doing could anxiety just go away or do u have to try and cure it urself

  • the problem is trying to focus on what your doing without thinking of anxious thoughts. thats the challenge and why you need to adapt a method. this method in the next video is working well for me.

  • is it it poosible for you just to get rid of anxiety without doing anything at all?

  • ElDargo, essentially the stop anxiety technique takes something you are already doing, thinking about the worst that could happen (usually imagining looking through your own eyes)and puts you in charge by consciously creating in your mind what you want. I explain in the videos why this is so. But you do have to DO something. You have to take charge of your own program. No one will wave a magic wand and "cure" you. Only you can do that. - Mark Shepard, NLPT

  • excellent work...but do u mean "subconsious mind" when you mention "unconsious mind" each time...?

    rest everything is perfect...

    Thanks.
