For all those who are attributing this short to an amature filmmaker, it was one of the first motion pictures ever made, called "Le Voyage dans la lune" (1902)

How great is this! Probably the original inspiration for Mystery Science Theatre! Would like to see DVD compilation of the old NightFlights -- or put them on one of the MTV channels!

@petemeade It'd probably have to be VH1. MTV sucks now and would never be cool enough to put this stuff on. It's funny though because back when MTV was playing the stuff from the 80's VH1 was considered for old people since it was playing stuff from the 50's. I guess it just shows how times change. I just can't honestly imagine this coming on after 16 and pregnant or some other crap like that. It'd be the funniest though if it came on TBS since that was what it came on originally
