I did this. I didn´t see Diddy through the whole level, until he showed up at the exit. Without the cart you can´t get out of the level.

Why can't I do this glitch? My version of the game is 1.2 and I'm using ZSNES 1.41. I can only jump forward once right after I get out of the barrel and just fall from there.

Do you press your jump key then attack? It doesn't work if you just press just attack or just jump - needs to be done as "attack, jump, attack, jump etc"

Even so, it's ridiculously hard to jump right after I get out of the barrel. I always get into the cart, so I can't even try to jump/attack.

So then get Donkey in the front of the cart and Diddy in the back. Allow Donkey to be hit, then jump out as Diddy and do your thing.

I still can't do it. Diddy just jump once then fall, even when I'm pressing attack/jump/attack/jump... can't understand why. Oh well, sorry for the trouble. Thanks.

Hm, possibly you got a later version of the ROM in which the glitch was patched over, for example the version that the Wii uses?

Somthing happend to me like that but i wasn't like jumping in air i was walking on the tracks but when i went into the exit i fell off the tracks and died. lol!
