  • Don't know why I've missed this film for so long, seen all the others a million times. The Indian's were hilarious.

  • 2:59 - That manhole sure is light.

  • I think it's easier for a Brit to fake an American accent than the reverse.

  • @BeigeFunk That's cos we invented it lol!

  • nice

  • The lovely Joan Sims (my , but you've got a big one) She loved her costume in this scene. One of my favorite Carry On actors. I miss her dearly.

  • P. Nut

  • King Sid :)

  • Great film.

    Angela Douglas was a diamond.

  • There were some excellent Carry On's made in the late 50's but in my opinion the 60's were when the best Carry On films were made, Spying, Cabby, Cleo, Screaming, Up The Khyber and Carry On Cowboy were my favourite's They got too bawdy and lost their way in the 70's and of course a lot of the cast had changed. Thanks for posting this gem.....

  • joan sims is so sexy.. a very underated actress

  • Sids face at 0.23 LOL

  • a manhole cover on a dusty road in an old western town? LOL

  • @glvdtxn integral to the film

  • everybody has convincing american accents.

  • i think the fact that the accents were crap made it slightly more funny

  • God, doncha love that Sid James??

  • Yes he does! Is the answer to the question.

  • Carry On is great, but it's really hilarious how they try to cover their British accents, and in most cases, fail in this film. Just imagine outside the studio where this "western" is being filmed is England, not the US. :)

  • the best carry on film

  • "sounded like a horse backfiring"

    xD

  • Bullocks! HAHAHA!!! Such a classic movie!

  • Brilliant material - really funny!

  • A Great Carry On Film

  • Absolutely love this film. I watched it all the time when I was a kid! Still do now...

    Thanks so much for posting!

  • simbaone-I was in this film in 1965. I am the one in the salloon when the singer 9Angela Douglas) comes singing down the stairs. If you look at the roulette table in front of the camera, I am the one with the gray suit on your right of the screen. I was 24!
