Good job with the animation, but Anomalocaris had compound eyes, had no eyelids. It is the ancestor of many groups of arthropodae, and they still have such eyes. It had no jaws, also, it had a disk shape mouth, somehow similar to the mouth of a sea urchin.

Yes. The pokemon Anorith was based on the creature Anomalocaris (who's name means 'Strange Shrimp').

Except they found (or think they found) a devonian Anomalocariid. They're not sure if it's an anomalocariid or a eurypterid or just a squished horseshoe crab, but it looks like Anomalocaris. Look up 'Schinderhannes bartensi'.

Anomalocaris is my favorite Cambrian animal followed by Amiskwia. BTW, I'm OwenMarsh on the spore site but my name is Des lol. I think I'll sub since you can't watch people on spore. I'm going to try to make more Burgess animals too. I've got nice references in the book Fossils of the Burgess Shale.
