Damon's emotional moments always touch me. I love how passionate he is & the fact that he doesn't show this side of him often makes it even more special. And as for Delena vs. Stelena, I think the love triangle adds to everyone's love for Delena. If it was Delena from the start, no Stefan, their relationship wouldn't be as exciting. It's b/c she's with the more gentle brother that makes the idea of Delena extra great. In any case, Ian Somerhalder is one of the most attractive men I've ever seen.

Did anyone besides me see the tear Damon shed as he was wiping her memory? I can't every remember seeing him cry. I know there are so many people who think Elena and Stephan should be together, but they're as vanilla as ice cream. Damon adds challenge and spice to her life, and she helps him to be a better man. That's what real love is about, not the easy road.

yes i also agree with you Stephen and Elena are like vanilla (boring) however, she feels safe with him. In a way Stephen is Mr. perfect while Damon is not. However I actually believe that Damon is more human in behavior than Stephen. Which would explain all his actions because deep down he feels too much and way more than Stephen.
