I'm a singer meself, (although NOT currently professional). I used to be in a band MANY years ago now, and the way Miley's voice went in this particular Hannah Montana episode- the amount of bloody times that's happened to ME an' all! MANY a time, my voice has gone EXACTLY like that after I've sung a lot, (and sometimes, about ten times bloody worse than that!) :/

That's what happened to me. I used to love singing but after straining my voice so much, I lost it. I got it back a week later but I was not able to sing anymore. My vocal chords were damaged permanently. :(

Unfortunately surgery is not an option for me and I will not be able to sing again.
