How'd you get so lucky to hang at the station while they went on a run? I've never heard of an FD that let civilians hang out at the station while there were no firefighter's around.

Hey MrJakemoffitt. Squad 18 does have a real q on it. not sure if they have it on their new truck but their last truck definatly had one. You can see it on the You Tube Video: FDNY Squad 18 & Haz-Mat Responding
Thank you. The Squad is apart of the FDNY Special Operations Command. They can operate as an engine co., a ladder co., they assist in rescue co. operations and in hazmat operations. They also have a second unit (Bread Truck) that contains their hazmat equipment. They can pretty much do anything and are prepared to do anything. Hope that helps.
You could hear the driver/chauffeur say they were going to leave the bay door up for him

@JordanGray88 They had a couple members around off duty and there was a SOC Chief visiting their station as well.
