Once again He auditioned for the role....as in came in to the room broke out some nunchuku and did some moves for the producer Robert Wagner, originally yes he was set-up to play Kain, however the last audition they had was David Carradine they felt he was a better fit, why? I don't know. But Bruce Lee never wrote a screen play for Kung Fu, If he did I'm sure Guru Inosanto would know about it, Let it go its in the past.

Get your facts straight Bruce Lee Never wrote Kung Fu your thinking of Dragon the Bruce Lee Story which was Completely disrespectful toward the life of Master Lee. If you really knew what you were saying you would know it was written by a man who traveled to china and was awed by their stories of shaolin so much in fact that he decided to write a screen play about it, Bruce auditioned for the role but Carradine was the best fit in their eyes, So Show some respect for Master Carradine.

Bruce Lee never created Kung Fu, He merely auditioned for the role Robert Wagner wrote the screen play for, Trust me I had a nice long Talk with Dan Inosanto who was Bruce Lee's Best Friend and assistant Instructor. He told me Kung Fu was never Bruce's Idea that was something they put in Dragon the Bruce Lee story, which he and I are pissed about

Well that was because Bruce Was 1/2 Chinese and the producers were racist. But if Bruce Lee went on to do this show do you think he would have had time to make Fist of Fury, Big Boss, or even the fabled Enter the Dragon these films made him a start...his heart made him a legend. Truthfully I'm glad he did not do this show, I give respect to those who earned it and regardless of David Carradines abilities what he did for kung fu you cannot measure.
