hate to tell you, Hwy 72 doesnt go into Nederland. It ends and Hwy 119...which if you turn right, THEN takes you to Nederland. And you idiots ought to take those bikes back to where you bought them and have someone teach you how to ride them and the laws concerning passing zones... you DO know what the 2 SOLID yellow lines mean??? Idiot flatlanders!!!
Road perfect - riders less than. Poor road positioning, very little evidence of ability to read the road - reactive and not pro-active. A great advert for training!
what sort of camera were you using to get such good quality video? was it a video camera? or a still camera that could record video? where was the camera mounted & how did you get rid of all the vibration called by the SV's motor
so where is this close call??? well if that ripping it...lol come to England and we'll show how to ride properly :D lol you barely pushed those bikes to a 1/4 of theyre potential.
I feel like you need to get a I-4 car and practice passing. My sv650 passes faster than you. You're like always in the wrong gear when you start passing & then you're like fumbling through gears when you pass. You should start passing with the engine @ 6k. Around 6k power should feel instant. At least it does on my sv650. & You need to build up speed before you go in the other lane... The goal is to move back over as fast as possible. A 4cyc car will teach you how to time it right.
I have a question. when you are on a sport bike and you are in the curves, do you NOT want weight on the front when you hang off of it? Or do you want weight on it?
.... What you really should do it take a track day course... $300. Honestly it's worth it. & yes, but it's more that you want weight on the bigger rear tire... than you don't want weight on the front tire. You don't need to lean to do this... smooth accel through the conner does this for you. The goal is to remain upright & in control, & smooth accel, but lower center of g. not front or back weight shifting. GL & get all ur gear, even boots.
meh... one time when i was just a wee newbie, I was riding with some freinds an inexperienced dumbass I was trying to keep up with them. To make matters even more rediculous, I was riding my GS500 while they were all on ninjas, gsxr's and a Z1000 which all, needless to say, are far faster in the turns no matter how I ride. Anyway, I hit a turn full speed and didnt realize it was a decreasing radius until it was too late. I went WAY over the double yellow, almost into their emergency lane.
wow, that pretty exciting, my heart pump a liitle bit faster. i have a motorbike and we have a motor rider club. we and my friends do that on weekends, we travel as up to 200 to 300 klms. back and forth to our destinations. just for fun and we are really having fun and good times.
Too many retarded idiots riding beyond their skill level! If you would like to ride fast (albeit, these two are slow as molasses with their big bikes and fat asses...hey...that rhymed!) then take it to a track day. No oncoming traffic! Video would have been more interesting if the fat ass got into a head on. Dumb shit. Look through the turn, and don't turn in so soon! You'll keep your line better and you won't push the double yellow.
When these two (how did you put it) losers (who obviously don't care who they get into a head on with) kills one of your family or a loved one, then YOU will care. That's why I'm a "dick" to others. Undisciplined riding kills more than just the "losers" on the bikes you illiterate fuck head! Can't argue with that logic you immature retard! Who's the "lil bitch" now! Anybody wanna comment about that?
Yeah, what morons. Obeying posted speed limits and just trying to get home.
I'd like to see you just cruising back home after a long day and some racer boy behind you up your case irate cause you're interrupting his speed run. Shoe's on the other foot now.
It's quite obvious that you don't ride a bike, and that you are not a motoring enthusiast. Therefore your comments are invalid. Too many times have i come too close to being knocked off my bike by some fool doing "the posted speed limit" who is not aware of anything outside his/her bubble.

I have to admit that it's a slightly boring video...but if you've ever taken that ride, it's very exciting. The video doesn't do it justice...

Yeah, I want to, I think it would be worth the money, and I'm sure even an experienced rider could learn something at something like this.
LoveTheRoad 1 year ago
Maybe they should go back and learn to ride. Staying over the center of the bike it no way to "rip" through a turn. Easy way to end up in a ditch.
