how do u butterfly at the same time i can on ly do split time!!! it just gets tangled otherwise and im not even good at split time cuz it always comes toward me just enough to hit my other hand
@GodsNotReal95 Are you doing it Thread The Needle style? Butterfly is a hard one to teach really. You just gotta hold one hand slightly in front of the other and having the poi spinning at slight angles as oppose to perfect wall planes. I'll try get around to making a tutorial sometime.
@GodsNotReal95 Turn your wrists so they are facing up while you are spinning. Then raise your right arm slightly higher than the left and slowly bring them together to where they are essentially resting on each other. Don't let your hands touch but the concept is such. It pretty much falls into place for you, start out slow, it isn't about speed!
@FOREVERxSWIFT Thank you very much ^_^ It's always nice to hear good things. In my socks I just use tennis balls. I find them to be the perfect weight. Allot of people put something in the handles of their poi too. I would recommend this but I haven't got around to doing it myself.
@02CSP Yeah mate I know what you mean I had a go at this one I got it down quite nicely ...... The left handed throws are what I've been working on a lot lately
Can you do this trick with fire poi?

@sillylilysally If you had wrist guards you could. Otherwise I guess you might burn your wrist a little.

That an interesting alturnative to butterfly throws you need to be able to do it with your left hand as well

@JoffJk Unfortunately i'm a bit lop sided when it comes to poi. I think I can do it with my left hand just not so well.
