We had a gun shy dog once, broke her of it by tieing her to the a post while we shot skeet. at first she rolled over n pissed herself but after an hour or two she realised they wasnt hurtin her n now shes a good hunting dog.....so theres always hope for that useless dog in your house

I have a English Staffordshire terrier and they are the most loving and smart dogs I have ever had. They have that 1 person they love to death and would live and die for.they are good dogs but they sometimes are not vary good with new poeple or other dogs. sorry to hear of your loss.

I had a bird dog. He used to always freak out when someone let off fireworks. After a while I realized he was freaking out in anticipation rather than fear which was kinda weird because we never took him bird hunting. Musta been instinct. :D
