Hi, I am planning a three week bike trip in argentina and am having a lot of trouble finding info on it, i would love to pick your brain, will you email me so i can ask you some questions? hannah.cordes.allen@gmail.com
@rollyrama2009 the trip was totally safe. I was alone for 90% of the trip and I never had any problems. Just use common sense. I used both GPS and road maps. Road maps are the best for planning. GPS helps keep you to your plan. GPS sucks for planning your route. GPS maps for SA are made by small non-profit interest based groups so they lack a lot of detail. That said GPS is useful for peace of mind to have a good idea where you are and to keep track of fun stats like elevation charts.
Be carefull because us, South americans are dangerous and we'll gonna rob you. We'll come out from the forests and mountains with a band of indians and monkeys, bringing rocks and bows in our hands.

hey im curious to know how much did your trip cost and how long did you travel for and how many countries did you go to...... etc etc etc. oh and do you have a road map or did you use a gps?
@rollyrama2009 Bicycle touring can be as expensive or cheap as you want to make it. Since I was going to South America where replacement parts were non-existent and I'd be camping for a year I spent money to get the best equipment and paid accordingly. Maybe $1500 for the bike and at least another $1500 on gear. You can wild camp everyday for free or pay for cheap hotels and hostels ranging between $5 and $15 a night. You can cook all your own food for pennies or eat out. Etc etc.
amazing mate great video hope to do the same some day.

How did you make your video? I just finished cycling across America and want to make one...

@Boutdonow14 I used iPhoto on Mac to make the slideshow but I'm sure there any numerous other ways as good or better to go about it. Good luck.

Awesome video! The song is actually "Wavin' Flag" by K' Naan though. Cheers!
