@dickmharter Trust me, I know about being close to poverty. In the past, I've had to use food stamps. I've had to take unemployment. Right now, I'm only making 1200 a month as a part-time college teacher, with no insurance.

However, this is not slavery.

I've done my research, thank you. We have 20-27 million people in the world who are living under REAL slavery. People who are kidnapped, beaten, starved, and forced to work for no pay.

Situations may suck, but you're not a slave.

A slave, as talked about in these documentaries has no rights. They cannot leave their places of captivity. They cannot buy things as they are not paid. They have no choices in life.

many people are brought to countries where they don't speak the lanuguage and fear being killed or having they're loved one's killed--they can't communicate with officials around them. They are often under strict supervision.

Also, many of them are forced into METH addiction so that they will not want to leave due to the need for the drug.

Many brothels hold hostage girls who are 3, 5, 6...very very young, and afraid. Most times age 16 are is the oldest.
