  • Had one of these , great bike. Changed sprockets and wheelie at will.

  • I use to have a 500 four mint bike though it looks good it looks even better when its chopped, definitely the best Jap bike ever. thanks for posting

  • very nice.i just bought one..

  • hi, where do you get the spare parts?

  • muito linda ,tive uma 1972 tb com um quatro em um ,vermelho perola com aros scorro show de bola

  • what kind of exhaust is that? I have the MAC 4 into 2 on mine and hate it, I want a 4 into 1 system but I can only find it by MAC. Anyone know where I can get ahold of a 4 into 1 header? I have my own slip ons.

  • if you guys think there the best I got 2 that are forsale

  • best Jap bike ever !

  • so thats what my baby used to look like, not anymore.still in the back of the garage

  • I have one of these... Granted it is by far not the fastest bike around.. But with the few minor tweaks it has i can blow away Supras, Skylines, Wrx's and other "Street Racer Boy" cars. Lol. They get upset when a oldschool bike eats them for breakfast.... Specially just after they yelled take the postie bike home out the window.. haha

  • THis was my third bike loved it same colour I aslo had & still have my RD200 twin Yamaha both very different I know but loved them.

Brought the Yamaha here to Australia it is a 1972 model pear shaped tank metalic orange.

  • so pretty its hard to believe that it is japanese

  • What is THAT supposed to mean? Japan is all about skill, attention to detail, beauty, harmony, etc. Devotion to form and art is a tradition in Japan going back thousands and thousands of years. It should be no surprise when Japan produces something so beautiful.

  • Fair enough but it doesnt pull heart strings like a vincent black shadow.

When I say its hard to believe it is japanese, I was refering to the state of MODERN jap bikes with grotesque fairing and angular bits, and also the psyche of modern motorcycling this direction has caused. A CBR1000 is hardly a ducati 1098 now is it? Dont get me wrong I admire the UJM's of the 70s ALOT, I ride a later cb750 to work every day, but now the simplicity of jumping on any bike and go anywhere is a dying art.

  • This was my first bike. I had some good years with this baby and I still miss it, even though it is 15 years since I sold it.

Actually I am looking out for buying one again. Even though I just sold my last bike.

  • Cool, my dad has one that was originally the same colour as this one, but it's repainted black now. Cool bike.

  • those old hondas are the best
