I agree cacophony was a great read I was at comic con and saw it I was like Kevin Smith writes for Batman hell ya. heard terrible reviews finished it and was like what the hell are people talking about.
I just wish Smith could stop having people talk like they normally wouldn't talk. For example would Bruce Wayne in the hands of a more regular writer, when told by Silver that he owes her a night out, would Bruce normally respond with "Kay." I mean come on. Cacophony has far more bits with too much of Smith's way of talk coming out of other peoples mouths. I get that he is the writer but it's to a point of feeling unnaturally not them. Am I alone in thinking this?
Great video! Actually Nolan did tackle the "relationship" between the Joker and Batman in The Dark Knight. I clearly remember the interrogation scene, where Batman says to the Joker "Then why do you want to kill me?" Joker laughs and says "I dont want to kill you! What would I do without you? Go back to ripping of mob-dealers? No, no...no! No you, you complete ME!" So that scene that your suggesting you would like to see Nolan tackle wouldnt make sense in his "batman-reality"
I think they are both cool

I was on the fence about both of these for the same reason as you but you have convinced me as always. Thanks for these reviews Good Sir Jack!

Some of my favorite Kevin Smith dialogue is during the scene between Batman and Superman at the beginning of GREEN ARROW: QUIVER.
