can some1 help me im around 5'4 but i can hang on the rim without the ball but when i use the ball i never dunk it i always hit the rim please help

thats cuz probaly your hands arent big enough to palm the ball. and probaly because, even though its not a lot, the extra weight of tel ball is slowing you going up and you cant make your full vertical. i had the same problem

to dunk a basketball you have to get about an inch below your wrist on the rim...once you get that you should be good, alot of people who can hang on the rim think they cann dunk. to get that extra inch and a half there are a couple things you can do.

if you are a two foot jumper then do leg press and power cleans

if you are a one foot jumper run up stairs and do wieghted lunges (weighted lunges might be bad for your knees though)
