  • Yes, great video!

  • Great video!!!!

  • "What we do in Iraq is damaging the USA..." says one of the interviewed veterans.

So if the war and the occupation would benefit USA, it would be OK?

It's all about what it means to America. War is bad because American tax money is spent, war is bad because American lives are lost etc.

If you are concerned with peace, start thinking about the damage done to others.

I am a citizen of planet Earth. Where ever you go to destroy and kill, you destroy my home and kill my brothers and sisters.

  • 3462779-gop-senator-tom-coburn-using-secret-hold-to-block-bill-on-veterans-benefits-

GOP Senator, Tom Coburn, blocks benefits for our veterans...

  • Why aren't you whiney wimpy crybabies protesting now that Emporer Obama is in charge? Oh yea, that's right, Obama is going to get on his knees and give you all jobs.

I still say you are all cowards. I served proudly in the Marine Corps, did several overseas tours including one in the Persian Gulf and am glad none of you were in my unit. Your still alive -- that means you couldn't have been deployed with me. Cowards deserve to be shot.

Obama is not your Savior. Bush was right.

  • How many babies did you kill?

  • As a current member of the US Army who served in a Rifle Platoon for 15 months in South Baghdad and a New Yorker who lost family and friends in the WTC attacks on 9-11, i would really appreciate it if all of you Iraq "Vets" stopped wearing your ACU/BDU Tops at these rallies.

You have all obviously forsaken your military resumes, so please do all the people who served with pride NO MATTER THE CIRCUMSTANCE and burn those uniforms in a fire

  • Iraq is an illegal racist preemptive genocide. If you support it, you are a criminal.

  • Where did I say i support it, you dirty douchebag? i just want the faggots from IVAW to stop wearing their uniforms at protests. It's pretentious and accomplishes nothing.

Congrats on the countless hours you spent trying to convince people how "wrong" the Iraq war is. It obviously didnt make a lick of difference to those who call the shots. Last time i checked we still have 130,000 troops there.

  • it may never make a difference to those calling the shots, but at least these soldiers upheld their oath to support and defend the constitution, not their superior officers or 'patriotism' as forwarded by corporate america. these soldiers are the real patriots !! and most ivaw know obama is the same as bush, duh. Wear Your Uniforms !! You've earned it.

  • 50 percent of IVAW arent even combat vets. They are shitbag soldiers who were about to get kicked out of the military anyway and use their right to protest as an excuse. All these fuckin idiots joined knowing that service to the country is unconditional when you sign the dotted line. Things didnt turn out the way THEY wanted to. Well boo-fuckin-hoo. The army job description is self explanatory. do what you're told to do by order of the President whether the guy is a douchebag or not

  • "The army job description is self explanatory. do what you're told to do by order of the President whether the guy is a douchebag or not" wow. you really are that brainwashed. and what if that order violates law, or your oath to this country ? would you rape your cousin if ordered ?

by the way, you do know iraq had nothing to do with 9/11, don't you ?

  • Wrong. You are generalizing like 100 percent of all the faggots who complained the minute they got to Iraq. What you are saying is the typical knee-jerk liberal reaction to the war. Not a single soldier in my 600-plus person unit raped anybody or murdered anybody. We spent our time building schools, treating sick children, and trying to make the best of a shit situation we volunteered for.

And I enlisted in the army right after 9-11 before there was any talk about invading Iraq.

  • i'm sorry, but are you replying to someone else ? this reply has nothing to do with what i said above. I know that most soldiers didn't rape or murder anyone, but those who claim to have witnessed such events have credence in my book. and now with obama not releasing photos because they depict sexual torture, yikes. the underling issue is the policy, war, torture, foreign invasions, on these issues the Iwav has been the true American Patriots. Not blind, sheeplike onlookers.

  • Let me get this straight. If you protest something you voluntarily agreed to support, you are a "true American patriot". If you are in the vast majority of those who defend the U.S. unconditionally as it states in the contract, you're a "blind, sheeplike onlooker"

That is just a fuckin brilliant assertion! Like i said a lot of us didn't support the war or Bush or the mission in Iraq. We supported each other in uniform. The guys in the IVAW are just looking for an excuse to not go to war

  • America, has seen its better days, and hopefully will soon again. It is to bad that the choice is between Obama and McCain.

  • Very disturbing how so many people protest and government goes on with their doings. While the rest of the population is dumbed down (with entertainment, biased media lies) and slaved by the economy trying to keep up with their daily lives. A lot of people don't want to take the risky loan for their education and of course that is where the government wins again and takes load of youth into the military. If this is the democracy in the USA, does Iraq really need a democracy?

  • democracy was the enemy of the founders of this {Constitutional Republic} country. they called it "mob-ocracy"

because 49% would be slaves to 51%, and public opinion is persuadable. stop calling america a democracy, it's not a good thing.

  • Pat Buchanan is the one you can credit with that 'we are not a democracy', (Constitutional Republic) talking point, not a founding father. We have ignored the warning of concentration of power and must restore the system of checks and balances. By definition a democracy means the supreme political power is held by the people and can be indirectly exercised by them in a system of representation. Saddam's Iraq was an example of a republic without democracy.

  • i agree what what you say fundamentally. the constitution gave all power to the people and the states, the federal gov became the monster it is today. a democracy is dangerous without a guarantee of rights. this is how it was before the creation of the USA. and why the founding fathers constructed a republic with unalienable rights.

  • Thank you for the posting I am surprised MTV did such a good video.

  • We are getting stonger.

  • Thanks for posting!

  • The Iraqi invasion needs to be stopped NOW. No more loss of American lives can be allowed. Violence will continue on a high level as long as we remain. . GET OUT NOW. STOP ALL FUNDING NOW.

  • Interesting video. I'm guessing that IVAW are going to be out in Washington for the Sept. 15 protest.
