So the dog is badly trained. Maybe it wasn't trained at all. Quit pointing out the obvious, people. That's the POINT of this video. She made something creative out of a dog who needs to work on it's skills and a few farm animals, so get over it.
Nice vid. XD I liked the story, and I loved how that little lamb was hiding under the llama. omg that touched my heart. XD
That was kinda neat how the llama and the donkey teamed up on the dog at the end. Id heard of using donkeys and llamas to protect sheep herds from predators but i never knew how they did it. Was that a lamb under the llama? Too cute.
That is the most poorly trained border collie i've ever seen. The dog is NOT supposed to bite lambs on the neck and drive them to the ground in order to herd them. Anyone who has seen a properly trained dog would know that this dog is out of control. I was hoping that the llama would hock a big, slimy stinky gob of spit on the owner.
Disgusting. Your dog was not 'herding' the lamb, it was harrasing it. For those of you who claim it is herding, look up herding border collie on youtube and take a look at what real herding looks like.
The little lamb wasn't killed at that beginning. For you city slickers who posted the ignoramus comments. The dog is doing what he's supposed to do get the animals back to the barn. Trust me he knows far more about his work than you concrete stompers. I thought it was enjoyable and trust me, whoever made that film loves his animals and wouldn't have allowed any to come to harm.
If the dog is sweet and playful why does it keep harassing the lamb. Even if there is no blood, for all I know the lamb could have been paralyzed and helpless.... Oh wait its a singled out lamb with no mother or flock... it is helpless. Its a shame people let their dogs run a muck like that to terrorize stock.
As someone who has sheep and use my sheepdogs to work them. I'm appalled. He claims to have not harmed any- sorry you don't get lambs to just "play dead" and even IF the lamb was not harmed, no dog should ever be allowed to harrass livestock. In the shot where the lamb and dog are in a pen or something, the lamb is very scared and would be in danger of death EVEN IF the dog did not bite him!!
For me the shepherd dog didn't kill the the puppy lamb. If you pay attention when it's supposed to be dead actually moves the head, and there is no blood anywhere.
The shepherd was trying to gather the crowd, and the author of the video is using very good the music to predispose the public.
excuse me, but whoever had the camera must be sick!! the ends says, no animals harmed...well actually a couple were, sorry...sick! why wasnt the dog stopped?
My goodness, the dog was just PLAYING with the lamb! It obviously wasn't dead. YOu can even see it move a little.
