I've never been able to sit through any other video with My Immortal playing on it ever since I saw this around 10 months ago.

Not even the original Evanescense music video. This video was the first time I heard that song and trying to watch anything else with it somehow dilutes and ruins the memory of this video for me which I utterly loved first time around.

It fits so well, I'm quite happy to to come back and watch this every couple of months or so when I want to hear this song.

This is the most impressive music video I've come across. It just blew me away; your treatment of the video, the edits and the lack of redundancy. I really liked how, when picturing Jareth, you used clips that kept him in shadow and unclear. It really made an impact and was pretty true to the mood of his character in the movie.

It was a little jarring to suddenly see Sara popping pills over it, but otherwise this was an emotionally-evocative masterpiece.

It makes me want to write fanfic. :3

I agree, I find this video to be near perfectly synchronized with the song word for word which shows painstaking timing and great planning and skill on the authors part. The only way I think it could ever be improved (and the only part I could fault) is tweaking the end area to better reflect a playout of them parting in the supposed past. I'm not convinced of the choice of some of the scenes used for around the end.

That video did grasp their emotions, just oh so perfectly. And yeah i did want to hit her too for that, but again, she's young and that would have been too much of an emotion for her age. But at least she is thinking back. I havent read the sequel or anything, but in my mind, they are in love, its just a forbidden kind. Wow that was an odd ramble.

because a. she was 15 years old and totally immature which many 15 yr olds are, b. she was concentrating on correcting her mistake in wishing away her brother whom she loved, c. she thought that he was attempting to seduce her which, with her brother's freedom apparantly at stake, does seem pretty reasonable under the circumstances. give the girl a frigging break! part of that dedication and love for her little brother was what attracted Jareth to her to begin with!
