  • once you've done all the foam molding etc, how do you go about attaching the vinyl/leather to it?

  • @DoyenUK Rivets. About an inch or so apart

  • You know you look like the actor that was on the movie Commando with Arnold.

  • @fx802 LOL, I hope he's cool

  • Where's part 3?

  • Thanks, since my new computer no longer has Movie Maker I just don't seem to have the energy to learn another editing system, but making the videos was fun while it lasted

  • thanks for posting the how to...

  • Terrific stuff. Would love to know more about how you cover it...

  • Enjoyed your video. Would love to see the next installment

Thanks, but after spending umpteen hours carving the top, I realized it was just way too flashy for my bike. Though I've passed the 100 mark on seats I've made for other people, I still ride on the stock seat on my 93 FXR. It's comfy as heck plus, I'm just not cool enough for a tooled seat. So, this one will probably sit in it's unfinised state forever. I did film most of it, so maybe I'll throw together a vid of the tooling part.

  • What foam do you use? Is it the "Outdoor Foam" on the page you provided?

  • @Dfull86

    It's the High quality neoprene
