Unique, but not particularly affecting, with a loss of essential male qualities, very much like a woman performing this role. If you close your eyes, you'd think it was a soprano duet. Historically significant, but does it contribute a whole lot to the modern tastes for operatic drama and intensity? Just a personal opinion, hopefully not too negative for this forum.
