this teaser was so full of mysteries. remember the questions like "was this the past or the future?", "is that sora riku and kairi?",and "considering they are wearing knight like armor its kind of implied they're masters of the key- holy cow a graveyard full of keyblades! there must have been a ginormous fight going on like the 1000 heartle-HOLY its a dragon!" it was fun how so many possible theories rushed through your head and the possibilities were only limited to your imagination.
this game will take at least 2 years to make...doubt it will be released to ps3...They are probably waiting for sony to announce ps4 release date so they can start working on it...

5 years later I'm watching this again, and I just realized... there's no Disney characters in this video. When I used to think of Kingdom Hearts, I would immediatly think of Disney movies having worlds based on them... Plus, I now have no fucking idea what this trailer is even FOR! If I didn't see keyblades, I'd never think Kingdom Hearts. Did this game even come out? I don't even know, I'm not even a gamer anymore.
The PS3 is about to be recycled when the PS4 is just around the corner. The development team is better off releasing KH 3 for the Vita and not the PS3 anymore. Haha, I'd rather play KH 3 on a portable handheld. They did a beautiful job with Birth by Sleep. I don't see why its not possible.

@iZackeyblade The beginning part with them picking up those Keyblades signifies what happens to them. If you cut out that part, the rest of it is in Birth by Sleep. I forgot that this is the short version.

if you google future KHIII, you will find a little article about what the head director said. he said that KHIII is still planned, it will take a different direction though, BUT as Sora as the main character. he won't release to much info, he also said that they are dipping into new HD technology for some HD remakes of the original games. He also said he has been occupied with the upcoming 3 Final Fantasies. :D so mabey after the FF's are done, we can see some KHIII?

@xbimpyx It had such a good story because that's what they put so much emphasis on, since they said to consider it a main game. They now consider 3D to be a main game as well. The 3DS is more powerful than the PSP, and the game is being developed by the Osaka team (BBS). I have no idea what's wrong with 3D.

@xbimpyx Actually, I distinctly remember an interview in which Nomura said that he has a good idea about how he wants it to end. That was quite a while ago, and he's had a lot of time to think it over. Also, KHII was made in - what - two years? The original KH wasn't meant to start a series. Besides, they'd only need a rough draft to start on gameplay, worlds, etc.

@xbimpyx Hey, how about this? Have you ever considered that maybe they're not spin-offs? BBS and 3D are both main games, as was confirmed by Nomura. Even without that statement, anyone can tell that BBS is an essential game to the progression of the series. A spin-off is a game that is unnecessary to get the gist of the main plot.
BBS opened the way for the "people in torment" plot point, which is now the main plot point of the series, as well as introducing several core characters.
in works of fiction prequel explains past events. its that simple. bbs is a prequel. yea its imporant because it exalins past things. it was good cause it was on a psp, the best device other than the ps3 for a kh during its time cause the ds ones sucked ass compared to something like bbs. i bought chain of meories, 365 days (which is also another prequel but to tell teh truth i didnt think much of it)

5 years later I'm watching this again, and I just realized... there's no Disney characters in this video. When I used to think of Kingdom Hearts, I would immediatly think of Disney movies having worlds based on them... Plus, I now have no fucking idea what this trailer is even FOR! The PS3 is about to be recycled when the PS4 is just around the corner. The development team is better off releasing KH 3 for the Vita and not the PS3 anymore. Haha, I'd rather play KH 3 on a portable handheld. They did a beautiful job with Birth by Sleep. I don't see why its not possible.

if you google future KHIII, you will find a little article about what the head director said. he said that KHIII is still planned, it will take a different direction though, BUT as Sora as the main character. he won't release to much info, he also said that they are dipping into new HD technology for some HD remakes of the original games. He also said he has been occupied with the upcoming 3 Final Fantasies. :D so mabey after the FF's are done, we can see some KHIII?

The 3DS is more powerful than the PSP, and the game is being developed by the Osaka team (BBS). I have no idea what's wrong with 3D.

That was quite a while ago, and he's had a lot of time to think it over. Also, KHII was made in - what - two years? The original KH wasn't meant to start a series. Besides, they'd only need a rough draft to start on gameplay, worlds, etc.

@xbimpyx Hey, how about this? Have you ever considered that maybe they're not spin-offs? BBS and 3D are both main games, as was confirmed by Nomura. Even without that statement, anyone can tell that BBS is an essential game to the progression of the series. A spin-off is a game that is unnecessary to get the gist of the main plot.
BBS opened the way for the "people in torment" plot point, which is now the main plot point of the series, as well as introducing several core characters.

@billyzanesucks and the new one that came out for ds along with bbs. bbs opens up to unasnwered questinos about the plot. thats what it does cause its a freaking prequel. you dont have to be a rocket scientiest to know that fact. you also dont have to try to expalin in detail why prequels are imprt to the current plot of something cause it should be pretty obv.

@xbimpyx Uh, yeah. If you know that something is important and relevant to the current plot of the series, I shouldn't have to explain how it's not a spin-off.

@billyzanesucks ur made up logic, trying 2 make false claims. im saying there should be no more freaking spin offs on HAND HELD SYSTEMS. after the GBA came the DS (kh on that) then psp (kh on that) 3DS (kh on that). now vs is in devpelement. Nomura has been saying he wants to do something about KH after VS

@xbimpyx Anyone could tell what you meant from your first comment. Obviously, if you cared about 3D at all, and thought it was a main game, you wouldn't have asked when they'll make KHIII. It was already clear that you considered it a spin-off.

@billyzanesucks i rather have no spin offs, VS in full deveplement, and right after KH3. even metro criticized KH for making some ofhte spin offs. KH3 is taking a long time to be released, its gonna take even longer to make.
the creators should have some ideas by now with all these spin offs about KH main story and the events after 2 and how birth by sleep past events play a rule into the future of the game. if its true and once VS is done and nomura wants 2 stick 2 his word about KH3 then
