I grew up in Park County, what a methhead shithole. Btw I thought they Based South Park on Aspen Park in Jefferson County (Conifer). Maybe I'm wrong, but from my understanding Trey and Matt created the fictional South Park as a mix between Park/Jefferson and Littleton. That's why theres like suburbs and malls and shit in the mountains lol.

South park used to be an actual town in the wide valley known as south park. It's where Fairplay is now. There's a street in Fairplay that's a museum of that town and that street is the south park that you see on the show. The whole area from Frisco to Fairplay to Leadville has a thousand streets and homes that look like what you see on the show, but once you see that historic town of south park museum it's obvious what real spot in Colorado the show is set in.

I live in Fairplay, which is in South Park. A geological plain surrounded by mtns. The creators of the cartoon are from towns nearby, Conifer and Evergreen. It does snow yearround here. Approx 17 frost free days a year. elev about 10,000ft. There are not many who can handle the cold and winds up here, but those who do, love living here. It is a beautiful place to live.

Anyone who has been there will recognize it. Any number of other videos on here will look pretty much the same as my footage. Go to google Earth, do a fly by from Alma to Fairplay. The scenery, and topography will be exactly the same.

Like it or not, this is the REAL Southpark. IT is not as glamorous as the cartoon makes it out to be.

I was born in South Park Colorado. about 20 minutes outside of Fairplay in a tiny log cabin. The last time I went, there was nothing there, but the old concrete base where it used to stand.

It's weird not only was I born in South Park, but I also knew the guy they based Mr. Mackey off of.

The creators are about 6 or 7 years older than me and I'm pretty sure I never met them, but sometimes I feel like both Kenny and butters were somehow based on me (that's a joke... i think)
