  • This song deserves HD... not 240p... someone please re-post. it's just too good.

  • It warms me to see Metal fans paying their respects to the late great Pink Floyd. :)

It gives me hope in humanity really.

  • They did a good job on this one!

  • I like it. The sax could of sung a little more, that's my only complaint.

  • awesome.

  • Pink Floyd is my absolute favorite band,,, Im liking this cover though

  • fake saxophone? It sounds pretty awful either way... that would be my only real dislike of this cover.

  • @pighead17 the sax is a keyboard played by Tommy, it's so they don't need a live sax player. They also use it for synth, banjos, and many other effects. I adore BTBAM and one of the reasons is because of their ability to keep their sound real. They won't lie to you by putting a real sax player in the song and not have one live.

  • id say this is the best cover of this song, and on the whole album.

  • haha i bet blake is half asleep playing this beat:) great work though.

  • Love it

  • not bad. actually, it's quite good.

  • Between the buried and pink floyd

  • This is the only band I've found to treat the Pink Floyd legacy with dignity and talent! -- PF fan since 1967

  • btbam = my generations Pink Floyd. <3

  • What's cooler than Pink Floyd and Between The Buried an me? Between The Buried and Me covering Pink Floyd<3

  • Tommy does good on the vocals for this cover. BTBAM!!!!

  • i can see everyone hating on BTBAM when they are showing tribute by covering a song, i want to see floyd cover some BTBAM. will you guys be saying that floyd butchered a BTBAM song? put the shoe on the other foot and then judge because thats all you guys do. how original can you get by covering? LOL you people piss me off so much i cant help but laugh.

  • Thanks for uploading this cover. If a band's greatness is measured by the number of cover songs other bands do of their work, Pink Floyd is among the top. Korn's cover of "Another Brick in the Wall" is spectacular too.

  • Nothing will ever be as good as the original Us and Them. But this is a mighty fine cover if you ask me! I fucking live for cover of classic songs!

  • (L)

  • PInk Floyd is my favorite band. I have a deep respect for Pink Floyd, and always will. I definitely think this cover is a good cover. Anyone who says it isn't is just afraid to open themselves to newer artists.

  • see ya on the dark side of the moon......

  • @acehole558 i'll be swimming there

  • The way I think of this cover, is, Between The Buried and Me's take on Us and Them, with their drummer butchering the hell out of it.

  • @MrAdrianbelew The drums are practically the same and Blake is an amazing drummer, one of the best in the new age of metal

  • @BTBAMRulz Sir, you obviously suck at life.

  • @MrAdrianbelew I'm sorry your parents never loved you

  • @BTBAMRulz trololololololololololol, practically the same, that's funny.

  • What a shitty cover. The point of covering a song is to make it sound somewhat original. What the fuck was original about this?

  • @arkangelzero consider the alternative, if they tried to do something radically different, there would have been flames for molesting a beautiful song. at least they tried something. covering floyd is pretty ambitious in it's own right

  • @Archais22 Plenty of bands have covered Floyd well. The Bad Plus, Shadows Fall, and Queensryche to name a few. Shadows Fall is the only band who didn't change much, but even they made it their own. This was just a rip off. Like Killswitch Engage doing Holy Diver, or whoever the fuck recently covered Bon Jovi.

  • @arkangelzero Killlswitch Engage's cover of Holy Diver is amazing. And the video is just the icing in the cake.

  • @rwfsmith That Holy Diver cover is a disgrace to Dio

  • @NuclearSaint13 You'd probably have to care about anything he's ever done to consider it a disgrace, which I don't. You have a right to your own opinion though, so I shall respect that.

  • @arkangelzero Why are you mad? Are you even listening to the music. It's beautiful, just keep that shit to yourself.

  • @connoregan1469

Oh Lolz, you so crazy. If synth saxophone were something beautiful, I would listen to shitty videogame soundtracks from the eighties a lot more often. Nice punctuation by the way.

  • @arkangelzero I guess beauty IS in the eye of the beholder, ha. Also, thank you. I try to make good habits. lol.

  • @arkangelzero The guitars? The drums? The piano?? All original sounding

  • @arkangelzero pfff your a goober..you dont know enough about this band and if you heard some of the stuff they have made, youd of been to blown away to try and say anything negative.. come on brotha

  • i demand to know the 7 idiots addresses that disliked this....

  • This could be great cover, because BTBAM is great, extraordinary tallented band. But wtf are doing in such amazing song so shitty, terible and disgusting synth sax tone?? It sounds like I am jamming into it on small children casio keybord. It would be better without this...

  • @melmearruin Nah I think you are wrong, it's creative. BTBAM (and many other bands) don't just make songs to sound like they 'should' or to sound 'right'. It's a chilled song, why can't they stick some badly synthed sax in there? Who makes up the rules?

  • epic sax guy ? :D at 0:59

  • This band is amazing!! The rest of this album is great too!!

  • Legit felt like I was listening to Floyd.

  • fucking amazing cover of pink floyd- us and them

  • BTBAM = GODS

  • thank you for this....between the dark side and me

  • @drodiebeatz11

I would kill for an entire album cover from them.

  • BTBAM covering Pink Floyd. What a combination

  • sounds almost just like pink floyd

  • @palbo4 sounds almost EXACTLY like pink floyd...

  • @PoopOnMyLip i know lol, if it wasn't for the american accent i'd think it was them

  • everyone that thinks btbam did a bad job is retarded u obviusly havnt herd the original if u think misery did a better job they literally r spot on with a cuple twists here and there they even got the wispering at 4 45 rite

  • normally i would say never to cover Floyd... but this was well done. well done

  • @Thuhprezident At least someone knows....

  • UMMMM they do use clean vocals as much as they do growling so shut the fuck up

  • misery signals shat all over this, it has to be said.

  • @picturesofsarah Yes, yes they did; this is good too. I think bicycle race was probably the other cover off this album they did really well.

  • BTBAM = LOVE

  • this is a great cover, i didnt think it would be good but its awsome

  • this was whack 1st place [of course] Pink Floyd 2nd place Misery Signals 3rd place The Flaming Lips

  • if this song was just a single, no rest of the album, this cover, imo would be better, but since its pink floyd and they wrote the song and the rest of this fine album, btbam comes in 2nd place.

  • Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck!

  • chorus is at 2:24 3:54 5:30

    best part.

  • Whatever. At least it's not Misery Signals bad.

  • @MTGNoobma on second thought, I love it.

  • Sorry floyd, this cover takes a big shit on your original.

  • @Inahewoof Hey, Hey!! I will take a big shit on YOU......

  • @OpHuCkMaRtyRDoM This made me laugh by myself.

  • @Inahewoof No way is this better than Pink Floyd's. I am curious of how you could come up with such a conclusion.

  • @TheMonsieurhomer Because I'm not autistic?

  • Comment removed

  • As much as I love to see new bands have another crack at some quality music, I don't think this really did justice to the original.

  • Comment removed

  • the sax they used is shit ass

  • @C00Lcat69 Thats because it's a synth

  • @1xDRCx dur

  • @C00Lcat69 i think it was a keyboard used for a sax sound

  • @skatenrock1 naaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah

  • My two favorite bands in the world. Right here. Btbam took nothing away from this song and added nothing to it, they love Floyd and just wanted to give them thanks for helping them make them the band they are today, with all of their styles and influences. I love tommys screams but Im glad he kept them out of this song, its much better to just hear him sing :)

  • monsters covers monsters!!

  • This is the most talented band on earth no questions asked. we who know all the albums realize this

  • @HiPPoKryPtiC you are 100% correct my fellow BTBAM loyalist... lol

  • i dont give a fuck what anyone says, this cover almost brought tears to my eyes. the beauty, the simplicity, its all there... i dont think anyone could have done a better job doing this cover

  • @assman767 and also great gig in the sky brings a lump to mine

  • very very well done

  • They totally nailed this song.

  • @Cantkillmenow what the fuck is wrong with your brain? I said I like this song and I like most of their others. But the vocalist sucks on most songs. Faggot.

  • @charger619c Why dont you just get offended by someone talking shit on the internet. Get a fucking life hahahaha

  • @charger619c Because not everyone thinks they're "gay stuck pig vocals." Some people think they sound good.

Don't think of it as a type of singing, and instead imagine dirty vocals as another instrument. You like the distortion of a guitar, why not the distortion of a voice?

  • @Zender1 i always loved BTBAM because isn't the same metalcore shit band, they are incredible talented, so much experimental shit on their music :)

  • @Zender1 It's like something I remember my mother asking me when I was a kid. "Well, you like chocolate, and Tootsie Rolls have chocolate in it, then why don't you like them?". I guess it's a different flavor. It's not the same.

  • @Billinois78 However, I forgot to say in that last comment, that I do like the vocals, as well as guitars, drums, etc. I was just making a point that we can never assume what one will or will not like.

  • @Zender1 fuck yea, couldn't have said it better bro

  • @Zender1 because guitars sound good, and it takes talent and artistic integrity to make music on an instrument. people think I'm dissing the band by saying this, but clean vocals would add to the already incredible music these guys are making.

  • @Zender1 because it sounds bad

  • @Zender1 'cause it seems you're actually an animal. I don't hate it, but not all bands can do that without losing... Then nowadays these fuckin 'core bands just break balls. They try to play extreme music speaking of... nothing? Humbug.

  • @charger619c Actually, I know what you're saying. Like when that guest vocalist at the end of Prequel to the Sequel comes in, I always think to myself "My god, how much more awesome this band would be if they had his scream instead, which actually varies in pitch." The main vocalist has the kind that really grinds the ears, and takes many listens to grow accustomed to, which of course I've done many times over :P

  • @charger619c Pig vocals? I have never once heard Tommy use pig vocals.

  • one of the best pink floyd covers ive heard in a long time. didnt even know this song existed i knew btbam had a bunch of covers but not this song

  • amazing

  • best pink floyd cover ever

  • This is why I love Between the Buried and Me.

Their musical knowledge is that of King Crimson!

  • This gives me meaning to live.

  • i never thought I would hear a metal cover of this song. If Floyd would've hired a metal band for a session in a parallel universe, this would happen. I love it!

  • it sounds a bit like a poor copy of mineral.

  • i love pink floyd, prog metal, and i'm high... this is awesome :D

  • Love it!

  • they did an extravagant job

  • I clicked on this while talking to my ex girl friend who shattered my heart after our 9 month relationship. We havent talked in almost two months.

Half drunk, reflecting on life, and talking to this girl.

And at 2:24 .... I break into tears... Not a single fuck was given....

  • @pengudaman Too many fucks were apparently given, d00d.

  • @elmo81409 Touche friend. Well I did give a fuck really.

But I felt I didnt at the time because I was pretty drunk.

  • @pengudaman We've all been there, man. No worries. People kind of suck to begin with.

  • Holy shit, this is actually good! Damn good, in fact!

  • I love everything this band does! not down to being a fan boy but because everything they do is so well done!

  • ... epic ...

  • this is lovely

  • holy shit i was expecting some shit cover of it lol.

    not bad at all.

  • Sex.

  • @bean14hawks exactly, me and my exes song, well the pink floyd version was. first time i kissed her this s hit was playin and it ended up in makin out and so on so forth. crazy shit floyd can do man...crazy fuckin shit, now its all gone

  • Shit, maybe they should just take over Australian Floyd. I would totally pay to see BTBAM covering Floyd all night.

  • i'll say its a gud cover(Y)

  • ok everyone needs to quit bitching ok yes i agree i love it when bands make it there own but if anyone here knows anything about this band at all you will know this is a TRIBUTE cd that being they are just straight up playing this song now if you ask me im personally amazed at the fact that a band as heavy as btbm can play this this well is truly one of the most amazing things i have ever heard.

  • Pink Floyd and BTBAM. 2 of my favorite bands. Perfect

  • @IDontLikeAltRock agreed. amazing cover

  • Awesome, the only thing I miss is a bit is the sax (though it is there) but it's pretty close to the original

  • this is just phenominal. this band is nothing but musical genious in its purest form. to cover pink floyd and pantera and have the most unique music i've ever heard originally, beautiful.

  • This is really nice. :-)

  • Any band that can cover both Pink Floyd and Pantera and do it well is ok by me

  • Superb. Nothing more to say.

  • I'm not a huge fan of this band but this an incredible homage to a classic song! Everyone should give credit where credit is due.

  • @adace1 How arent you a huge fanof BTBAM they are one of the most telented bands to ever walk planet earth

  • @Austinmp47 I wish I was but the vocals kind of ruin it :( Their playing is excellent though!

  • I think everyone should just stop sharing their opinions of music, it's entirely subjective, everyone just shut up, if you like it listen if you don't move on. The world will be a much better place.

  • Not a big metal fan, but this is a good cover. My only criticism would be that the sax player leaves a lot to be desired.

  • @jhartma1 to tell you the truth it might not even be a real sax :/ the vocalist has a pretty nice keyboard that probably sounds close enough to an actuall sax to justify not getting someone to play it

  • BTBAM is amazing. I've lost track of time for lengths as much as 3 hours listening to their music. The only cover that I dislike is The Day I Tried To Live, and only the chorus at that. I like every song that they've actually written, and every other cover, including this one. My friend Sean got me a signed copy of The Great Misdirect, because he knows Dan Briggs and asked for that. I love you, BTBAM.

  • holy shit.... they got balls to cover a floyd song. but they did a damn good job!

  • this hole album took balls and they did it and they did it well rely well and they are showing homage to there idols and yeah if you bitch about it being the same be glad there is a version with better recording quality

  • Really, the whole point of this album was them paying homage to the band's that have influenced them. They play them how they want to play them, because at the end of the day, they're having fun.

Musicians that have fun while playing are the best, and BTBAM fit themselves nicely in there.

  • @Jashcakes so by your logic, Nickelback has fun performing therefore they are the best?

  • @Hamgammy If they have fun playing, yes.

  • Love Pink Floyd, Love Between the Buried and Me. What's not to love about this song?

  • if you don't like the song, don't listen to it.

    simple as that, kayy?

  • this is the proper way to cover floyd. to a t. never, ever disrespect their music.

  • Never heard this band 'till now... well, actually I was hearing King Crimson, then I found their version of Three of a Perfect Pair and finally this. But I got to admit that they do a great job. Similar to the original, but still with their own style... not many bands can cover Pink Floyd like this. I prefer this than the copy-version of Dream Theater though.

  • i think by them playing it the same way the original artist did is just showing respect. Ya know? instead of taking a song and butchering the shit out of it, they are keeping it original, and how it should be. But why are we bitching about music? Just enjoy it.

  • One of my favorite bands covering my favorite band!

  • I don't like the band, but I'll give them this is a good cover. However, who the hell mixed this? The balance is terrible.

  • @lorifix Agreed. One of the cool things about this song (rather this album) is how it was mixed... DSOTM probably had more mixing time on it than any other album in history. The fact that it was 4 decades ago makes it even more compelling, seeing as that it has translated into light years worth of recording equipment. Nice attempt, but Floyd will never be replicated. Closest I've seen is a Croatian band named "Gruhak", and they've only covered like 3 Floyd songs.

  • This is great.

  • Not a huge fan of this cover, but they covered motherfucking Pink Floyd. And they did it better than most people. That shows that can get credit for it

  • @TheLongingSH I like your reaction to this. it isnt the best, but its truly better than most.

  • I like this one.. I know I'm probably going to get flamed but I prefer this one over the original one. The bass does a bit more in this. This one makes me feel relaxed. The original one doesn't do that for me. Plus there isn't that reverb in the voice, I don't really enjoy that reverb and extra voices especially in the chorus.. Although I must say I like the sax player in the original. But this version hits the bomb for me. Guess its because I was born in 92?

  • Wow. I love the guy's voice so much! I can't really explain it. It's just so much better (IMO) than some of the other really big mainstream bands like Dream Theater. It's so smooth and relaxing when he sings! Don't hate me for mentioning Dream Theater. I used to listen to them a ton and I still do. I just used them as an example.

  • @9TayldFox I known what you mean. DT has been and still is my second fave band of all time, but even I can say with confidence that they have their problems. That's the sign of being a true fan; being able to know their problems and accept them instead of bury it under a pile of denial. I know DT is cheesy, and their newer stuff is starting to lose it's artistic magic, but I still like it. I just hope that they get a drummer as world-class as Portnoy.

  • What an amazing cover between the buried and me are simply brilliant!!

  • this song puts me at peace (:

  • i respect that they covered pink floyd, i think its a good cover but there is room for improvement
