i feel like iam on "its a small world 'ride in disney land and those are colorful dolls moving about so silly..now dancing is so much more in tune with human sexuality
Hi, You would happen to have old videos of some of the great dancers or professionals, like, Al Franz/Beverly Donahue, Joe& Nancy Jenkins, Ronald Bennett/Glenis Dee or Terry Gregory??? Why I ask, is that I used to dance and took lessons in the 1970's and 1980"s in their studios. It would greatly appreciated, if you could. I have myself dancing with Ron Bennett, but I think two of the men dancers have already past away in the last few years. Thanks for posting you videos.
exactly, just like you are not wearing clothes of back in those days, just like you have a different hairstyle today, just like everything changes as time passes by.... But you have to respect these people and they way things were done in the past as it was as they knew was best!
@bmwsitgez I think you misread Sdiable88's comment. They were just saying Thank God we don't dance like that now; that didn't denote in any way that they didn't respect their way of dancing. It's pretty obvious that they're dancing that way because of the time period. I was thinking the same thing as Sdiable88 when I saw this, but I definitely respect their dance style.
Great music. Love live orchestras. Must admit that the ladies costumes are a bit dated. At least that they are not trashy like today's outfits.Though I am glad that I did not have to wear what is shown in this video. But at least they are being nice ladies and gentlemen in the manner of clothing and dancing. Thanks for posting.
i wonder if the way we dance latin now is going to be ridiculously funny to future generations in 30,40 years from now xD

I wonder what future generations of ballroom dancers will think of today's dancers...

Seems funny now, but this is where the dancing of today has come from. Without these people none of us could watch slavik or stefano burn it up.

I love the shoes being the same color as the dresses. I'm so sick of flesh/floor colored shoes.
