  • I get the same results with my xtera 705. The 705 will go much deeper in the soil.

    thank you for posting

  • Impressive how STABLE the 705 was and wasn't even bothered by the wiring/appliances in the house! You'll notice that also in the field when you're trying to hunt around power lines etc...if you can afford one, the 705 is the right choice!

  • So which is better, im all about silver and gold just like anyone else... If someone can help me to pick a nice one up with ought breaking my bank would be great.... THANKS

  • i have the EuroAce(350) and its worth its money,Low cost machine but it belongs with the big ones.....Nothing wrong with the Garrett EuroAce,Sure there are better machines but then you pay a bigger price.

as for someone that wants to start this Hobby start with a Garrett.Cheap and awesome.as for bottlecaps knockout the first 2 pixles.

  • Thank you for posting this.

  • @Ardenwolfe Thank you!

  • Love the sleeping dog.

  • @laminae LOL he is very stealthy :)

  • Yeah this 705 is a great machine , I was a little worried at first not knowing the machine, but now that I have used it I have found things really deep . Some of the guys with more costly machines could not believe the depth that I was getting and I was able to keep up with them. Of course they had some items that were nice on there detectors but over all this 705 is awesome for the cost . Feel safe buying this detector as it will do what they say ! And be stable at that .

  • Great test.. Can wait to get my Ace 350!

  • That's a cool woodburning or gas stove/heater. I'd like to know what it is, since I'm from Minnesota!

  • @biggstile It is a pellet stove... Have you ever heard of corn stoves? Similar to that but it feeds on small wood pellets instead. Got it at Lowes...Keeps the oil man away....far away :)

  • @antandshell is it cheaper than oil?

  • Where the 705 really shines is finding the very small Gold and gold at a very good depth with the 18.75 Khz coil . Also the TID is very good showing at the deeper targets. There is nothing wrong with the 350 for sure , but I do like my 705 as I went to that from a Garrett so I could get the extra depth And the TID , also I like the stock coil better than the Double D as I do think it does a better job overall . Also the recover speed is quicker on an area that has many targets .

  • @Daedalu I cant wait to get the gold coil! I already got the 7.5 DD coil and have to say, for me anyway, it separates multi targets better then the stock concentric coil does. You should do a recovery test with the stock coil... Either way the 705 is amazing at target separation and you can swing it sooooo slow and it still hits!

  • i have the Ace 350 it's ok but some issues with showing Bottle caps as .25 also i think the video you made is great. the price on both are far in between. Ace for me was only $250 Where the Minelab X-Terra 705 is $699. the Ace is alot of bang for the buck. just need to get alot of hours on it to know how to use it right. Love them Bottle caps and Foil. lol

  • @offroadjeepers Thanks!! great deal on the ace.

  • got my ace 350 yeasterday. still getting used to it but so far its pretty good.

  • @BlakeRowellx Unbelievable amount of features for 300 bucks.... no one comes close in my opinion.
