  • It's a very very old music, greatly arranged here by Rahbani brothers for Fairouz ! it's from Andalous islamic empire, listen to Tçe Mali Wali from Iraqi folklore, and you will understand the origin of this music, and of corse there is a correlation between andalous and Iraq, as exemple Ziryab the master of andalous music (born in Mossul (Mawsil) in 789, growth in Bagdad ( actual Iraq), lived in Damascus (Actual Syiria), then in Tunisia (Tunis), then in Cordoue (Cortoba) in the actuel Spain ..

  • Ron Goodwin Arabian Night album was not composed by him. It is all tunes composed by the Rahbani brothers and Philmon Wehbi . Bare foot girl is the tune same as elbint alshalabiya which was composed by the Rahbanis
