  • Marmalade. Four Scots and an Englishman, originally called The Gaylords. Excellent change of name methinks. :)

  • Awesome video, awesome song... The only pic I didn't like was our current idiot President refusing to salute the flag!

  • Those mans needs to learn that War is not a solution and go to the war and kill isn't the right way to be a Hero.

  • 1:48 John McCain in a POW hospital in Hanoi

  • if the fukin politicians in D.C. would have let the Generals fight the war, we would have wiped that piece of shit country off the map....

    3rd Batt. 7th Marines ChuLai,RVN 10/65-11/66

  • Thanks !!!! To All The Brother's & Sister's From All War's , That Helped Try To Change The World And This Country To Make It A Better Place To Live

  • WARS ONLY PROFIT THE RICH . SO WAKE UP FOOLS. THIS COUNTRY TREATS ITS VETERANS LIKE SHIT.

  • Men " THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE!!!" currently in service now I hope you I can repeat your thankless job!!

  • Dear Americans, your effort in vietnam war had huge impact for people who were living under communist system , against did you fight. we observed , and were happy when you was killing vietnamees communists , bolshevicks communist press always lied to us but we never , belived in this propaganda. Hail to America the greates country in the world. remember russia is your bigest enemy . do not follow opposit opinion that is lies

  • Hearts & Minds tells what really happened. We should stop being proud waving the flag.

  • war is war we are all Americans, death is death does not matter which war: i think its spelled Vietnam

  • omg ..Vientnam!! The fucking ww2 wars harder!!! dont cry america,it wars you first loose ;) but dont the last :D hrhrhr

  • Who was that pretty woman pictured about 3:24 into this video? Anyway, our Vietnam veterans deserved a much better homecoming when they returned from the war in spite of our country and Congress losing the Vietnam war...The pic of that family greeting Col. Robert Strim in 1973 was so touching and it's so sad that Col. Strim and his wife eventually divorced (perhaps in part because Col. Strim was a 'different person' due to his war experiences). Again, thank you Vietnam veterans....

  • Same shit today.....just seems the music was better then !

  • i thought this was about vets, but there were no doctors and no animals! :(

  • That photo of the kids running to meet their Dad is called "Burst Of Joy"

  • @joltinjack sucks don't it.

  • @chuy122353 I totally agree with you. I served my time in the Army and I am ashamed of what this country has become in such a short period of time. I try to keep my Christian beliefs that this is all in God's Hands and it is for our good. I have my strong doubts that we will get any better. If the Hebrews could be easily lead astray after seeing God's Almighty Hand part the Red Sea, we are just the same. What will it take to take our country back? All I can say is "God Have Mercy on Us".

  • I bet nanunana43 enjoys living in America at the cost of American lives, you take for granted every thing that has been given to you by Americans

  • august 22 1967 the day my life ended.

  • @oldfish64 SORRY TO HEAR THAT. THIS COUNTRY NEEDS TO TREAT YOU WITH HONOR AND RESPECT EVERDAY.

  • I couldn't be more opposed to war, especially this one and the two useless futile wars we are now losing, because WE Americans have nothing to WIN over there. When we take care of our own suffering at home, when we tale care of our vets who bravely fought, many not really knowing why, when we put the money back into rebuilding our own infrastructure and security, we'll win the war at home. That said, this is a beautiful, touching tribute. Nicely done!

  • THIS SONG WAS NOT COMPOSED FOR AMERICAN WAR CELEBRATION PURPOSES.

  • @NaNuNaNa43 How the hell do you know... It held a lot of feelings to a lot of Vet's..TY for the post

  • such a great song, compared with the war in vietnam or somewhere else is some kinda blasphemic...it was not (never) composed for american war tactics!

  • You americans didnt learn Your lessons well....thats why You need that kind of reflections, to teacht You new ones each day

  • Salute You All

  • Love the way you snuck that photo in at 2:31 right after McCain!

  • One of the more unsung songs of the 70's -- one that transitions the 60's to the 70's -- and one of the more powerful picture montages I've ever seen! This video is a true GEM!!!

  • At 2:06, The family running to greet their Dad, gets to me every time, no matter how many times I watch it. I wish I knew the name of the service member and his family.

  • @jpwjaz Col. Robert Strim (USAF). This was in '73. I read where he and his wife got a divorce a few years after this reunion. That's really sad.

  • @joltinjack ... Thanks. The best Col Strim and his family. That scene makes me so happy for him. Hope the kids grew up well and are happy today. Thank you for putting together a touching video.

  • @joltinjack At 2:31 there is Obama, Richardson and Clinton on a platform with a flag in the background and everyone has their hand over their heart except Obama, can you give this image some background and context? Thanks for a great video. All but for the grace of God and a very high lottery number and a president (Nixion) who finally said enough and got us out of there, I could have been in one of those photos. Thank you to all my brothers that served and welcome home.

    Dan

  • @joltinjack

From Wiki(note the spelling of the LT Col's last name):

"Despite outward appearances, the reunion was an unhappy one for Stirm. Three days before he arrived in the United States, the same day he was released from captivity, Stirm received a Dear John letter from his wife Loretta informing him that their relationship was over. In 1974 the Stirms divorced and Loretta remarried."

  • @TheJimDandy1

5 years as a POW and your wife decides to be the town outlet while you suffer.

  • @jpwjaz I remember that pic too and for the first time I really looked at it. Considering I am an Army Veteran it really got to me too.

  • War is a stupid thing...nobody wins...both sides have too much to cry when it is over. I hope we learn to solve our desagrees in another way...a real civilized way...

  • Thank you..einfach nur super gut..

  • Tricky Dick had no concern for anyone but himself

  • Thanks for posting......1st heard this song in Nam 1969-70, 12th SP Squadron

  • When was the last time the son of a U.S. President, or of a Senator, or of a Congressman laid down his life for this country? More to the point, when was the last time such a son even fought in a war for this country? If the men who decide to go to war will not send their own sons, then that war is not worth fighting. Damn you warmongers, damn you to hell.

  • So now we are going to invade Iran or arm Israel to do it. How many more Americans will die. Why is there always some evil dictator that denies the right of other humas to live and threatens neucular war like Iran is. There will never be an end to war. All my uncles and father fought. Most are gone now. Thanks Vets.......

  • "War is not the best way of settling differences; it is the only way of preventing their being settled for you."

    - G.K. Chesterton

  • BEST!!!

  • God Bless them all, I am English, but remember that Bloody war, and all the wars since, the threat of Communism has not completely gone but why do our Goverments keep pocking around in lost causes haven't our families given enough. God Bless the US & UK enough is enough. Oh and this song is the tops.

  • everytime i see that picture brings a tear to my eye.

  • Very well done thank you.

  • @Bossmanpc - You're very welcome.

  • I gotta tell you...that last scene broke my heart. I am still crying.....

It is NOT "our" fault "we" lost that war!

  • @Bluebonnett52 Shouldn't have been there in the first place.

  • @CrankCase08

No, we shouldn't. But nobody asked us. They just SENT us.....

  • @Bluebonnett52 Depends upon your point of view, it was Congress that lost that war, not our soldiers or marines or air men or sailors. We achieved our mission but what do we have to show for it now? There is no South Viet Nam and I am sure Hanoi Jane is happy about that. That @#*@!!! I am a Veteran myself and I serve side by side with several Nam Vets on the Funeral Honor Guard for my local Legion.

  • Vietnam fue una tragedia para el pueblo Frances y Norteamericano, no entendieron de historia

ambas naciones fueron sacadas a patadas, Nixon declaro que fue una retirada honorable, ni el

    se la trago.

  • Lt.Dakotastormm here class 67,68,69.to my squad" we only did as ordered."

  • will we ever learn?

  • GREAT SONG!

  • It's terrible what old men send young men to do.

  • @Dazicvs True but some of those young now old men do the same. Very sad.

  • @Bossmanpc and @Dazicvs Yes, very sad...In addition, the young men (and women) sent to fight a war return from that war as old men (and women)!

  • WOW this video is so damn powerful!!!!!!!

  • The 60's produced the best music of the last two generations. This is another example.

  • They make it seem so American while this song is from a Scottish band.... however great song!

  • @londonblock 'Paint it black' and I 'wanna get out of this place', both also by British bands, are also synonymous with the Vietnam War.

  • my grandad landed on french soile, fight all the way to berlin. my dad fight in the falklands. my uncle fight in n.ireland. i have never seen these men cry.

  • My friends' daughter was killed in action in Iraq. I found it interesting how many Vietnam veterans came to the service to honor her. It appeared to be more than any other group besides active duty.

  • well it is too much too fathom...this war stuff?

  • EN MEMORIA DE TODOS LOS VIETNAMITAS MUERTOS SIN NINGUNA RAZON, SOLO POR PENSAR DIFERENTES A LOS GRINGOS. VIVA EL VIETNAN

  • They were kids when they started their tour(s) of duty in Vietnam...and returned home as OLD PEOPLE...The Vietnam war, more than any other war, aged people in mind, body, soul and spirit very, very quickly...Very few Vietnam veterans were 'the same people' when they returned home as they were when sent to Vietnam!

  • @rocketmail217881755 As a mother, a human being, that makes me cry. So tragic, so senseless. Bless you all.

  • The US felt at the time that if SE Asia went communist they wouldn't let the US have access to their raw materials; oil, tin, rubber etc. Well, the nations of SE Asia did go communist then began fighting among themselves to be able to do business with the US. The Vietnam War was a mistake. Was it ever!

  • @isukaman I think we call that 'hindsight'......

  • This is for you Steve, you are still missed daily..I will always remember the sacrifice you made.. You were and will always remain a good, good man and I'm proud to call you friend

RIP buddy, see you on the other side

  • @Fruitloop186 Dont know how I came across this but I guess I did, Im 60 but still miss a good friend also, he died in 77 but I will miss him till I die,...Wait for me Wayne we have time to make up.

  • pic at 2:07 makes me sad...just thinking of all those boys who didn't come back.

  • This video has provided me with the best quality version of this song I have come across... including from iTunes. Well done!

  • very impressive.......RIP

  • Even though I'm a girl, i still vividly remember looking for my B-Day when they called the DRAFT LOTTERY. I had OH SO many friends go to Viet Nam, & am thankful to say they ALL came home, but were different ppl! Some would talk about it, others didn't.PEACE TO THE WORLD!

  • LINDO Y EMOCIONANTE EL VÍDEO.. ;o)

  • SIRSOSMOOTH, God bless your father.

  • @MickeyAllums Thank you sir, may God bless him and the rest of the victims.

  • Thanks to Eric Miller for drawing my attention to this video. Around the 40 sec. mark, my Team mate in Tiger Force, Team 1967, is Staff Sergeant John Gerstch, posthumously awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor in 1969. The spirit of my fallen Comrade's thoughts, dreams and future lives, are embedded into my every day existence. I live as I believe they would have. These Paratroopers gave the supreme sacrifice, so that we could experience Liberty. God rest their Souls. My Brothers forever

  • What a heart warming song and message. Its too bad that they put a picture a pile of SHIT with his hand off his heart !!

  • Obama put your hand over your heart, you fool.

  • Wonderful song; great slideshow!

  • very moving hg

  • LIFE.........the ultimate sacrifice. May we never forget the ones who gave it all..............

  • The shot of LBJ at the 1:50 mark is the picture of a human tragedy.

  • Sirsosmooth: So sorry! We can never ever replace your Dad nor think we ever could. But, for what its worth, I thank God every day for people like your Father.

  • @bags3976 Thank you so much for your kind words, may God bless your warm heart.

  • @2:06 beautiful view!

atleast she gets to greed her dad, what a wonderful thing. i look at this, it makes me happy because she is so happy to see her daddy, i wish that is me, but my daddy vanished without goodbye from the khmer rough, i will never see him again but his memories. the khmer rough took my daddy away and executed him because of his knowledge and was working with the US army, I'm still upset and traumatized.

  • @SIRSOSMOOTH Yes, it is wonderful to see this family reunited with their Father, a POW who was released from North Vietnam. The girl running with out stretched arms, had never seen her Father. What a testament to the strong Mother and Family that kept Love and hope alive.

  • @SIRSOSMOOTH

    My condolences.

But I would like to know how do you comment and feel about US supporting Khmer Rouge, backing theri chair in UN?

How many US fathers will have to die for reasons unknown to common man? When will you draw the line and say - "I dont let my father into battle, thousands of miles from home".

  • @halloeffect That wasn't me that made that comment.

  • So sad

  • @brattslapper Thank you, yes it is sad.

  • No one won in Vietnam. Everyone was equally screwed over.

  • at 2:05 is a family greeting their loved one. My favorite photo ever. Who is the soldier and is there video of this event?

  • I salute those individuals who served honorably on behalf of our nation. Many veterans of the Iraq War also served out of a sense of patriotic duty and their motives should not be diminished and the sacrifices they made, wasted. That is why I opposed both the Vietnam and Iraq Wars. Neither war was necessary and American, as well as Vietnamese and Iraqi, lives were needlessly sacrificed. It is our to ensure our military personnel are never unnecessarily put in harms way.

  • Are you really proud to die for the corrupt state owned by the few?

  • I was i High School towards the end of the Viet-Nam MESS!!! I saw SOOO many, WAY too many ppl I loved get darafted. I remember, even tho I'm a girl, watching the DRAFT LOTTERY every year & looking for my B-day. Thankfully most came come to tell the tale. But strange thing(maybe not so stange) alot didn't want to talk about it, & we all respected that! In my opinion, ALL WAR is a waste of so many things i can't even begin to list them As far as Draft-dodgers go, to each his own. I am~PEACE TO ALL

  • I was just glad when it was over and those who survived could come home. some fared better than others and some coped better than others. I was very young and against the war but never the soldiers. I was embarrassed and angry at how they were treated. When I grew up and had a child I took her and 12 other Girl Scouts to leave a banner at the memorial wall that said " Thank You For Service and Sacrifice", and was signed by many in our community including our congressman. It had an impact on them

  • The real heroes if Vietnam were the draft dodgers.

I hope there's a war with Iran. When 20,000 American troops die miserably and they bring back the draft, I'll bribe somebody and evade it. :)

Then I'll send postcards to random APO boxes.

  • @FLICKtheUSA what in the hell is wrong w/ you?

  • @pbrick6301

    I guess I'm a traitor, or something.

  • why in the world would the maker of this otherwise outstanding video of brave American MEN put up the picture of that piece of subversive FILTH at the 2;33 mark?

  • @akitaman101 What I find ironic is that referring to the President as "subversive filth" is in fact subversive. He is after all the President, if you don't like it you are free to move to another country. I'm sure you would have preferred eight more years of Bush.

  • @akitaman101 Are you calling our current president a subversive filth? As one who was drafted and could have gotten a deferment; but did not take it, I take offense at your comment. Any American should respect the position, and any member of the military should condem your words. The far right seems to have forgotten this fact; our government allows use to protest the situation. Your word remind me of the protestors that spit at us when we returned or called us baby killers. Shame on you!

  • @akitaman101 It's odd isn't it . Look he won't even put his hand on his heart .

  • @HotRodSixString No it's not odd. He hates the USA and he is a trader muslim piece of shit !!

  • @nickrambus I fought in that war you piece of shit. You can't even put a sentence together properly. He is the Commander and Chief regardless of your personal views. Upon return from the war most of us furthered our education. Obviously you haven't.

FYI: Modern custom does not require a hand over the heart. This is from the director of communication for the Maryland Historical Society, home of the original manuscript of The Star-Spangled Banner. Check it for yourself.

  • @akitaman101 Do you mean the guy that killed bin Laden and Awlaki and hundreds of other Taliban and al Qaeda that the little boy Bush couldn't? Is that the guy you mean?

  • @thehistorywatcher Go to hell. Obama kept the same policies and procedures that Bush and his administration in place, and the processes of our INTELLIGENCE organizations are the ones that placed Bin Laden. Obama just said yes, and likely took days to come up with the decision like he did with the SEALS and the pirates. The US forces under Bush killed and jailed hundreds of key enemy figures, including the guy who masterminded 9/11. F-off you little putz.

  • @akitaman101 Well said. This guy has GOT to GO!!

  • Yes "freeple"....go back to FAUX news watching. They are your lifeline to your imagined 'exceptionality'. Your big mouth is probably only surpassed by your obesity and hubris. Clueless.

  • well - they were surly brave soldiers, all those americans .... - bust just on the wrong side. just the same as my grandfather - he was a conmander in the Wermacht and he was brave and sucsessfull - but he gets no official recocnition cause he did fight on the side of evil ....

  • I know it;s not, but does anyone agree with me when I say this kinda sounds like music in the style of the Bee Gees'?

  • Why? You clearly have no argument or game. "Kick your ass again"? Who's ass has Brazil ever kicked. That's funny. The shrill cry of the insignificant. You throw stones, but tell us, how much of your GDP is given in UN foreign aid? How much to medical aid? Humanitarian efforts? Disaster relief? I'm guessing Nada. How very typical of the ingrate nations of the world. Call names, point fingers, all the while doing absolutely nothing for anyone else. Bring it, we laugh at Brazilian midget bravado.

  • @GunBroker100

Hey gunner, whose ass, that can really fight and defend themselves, have you kicked...ever, w/o nukes?

Granada, the capital of nutmeg? Panama? Somalia? Dominican Rep?, Haiti? Nicaragua?, El Salvador?, Please, what have you ever done for the world, without taking back something?

The problem with u is your dellusions. All glued with snot. Can't go against the historical record. You lose everytime.

I wish u did not have such a big mouth. But, comes with mother's milk, right?

  • @tiberio135 America have freed Granada from Comunism. Panama has been honourably independent and the canal has been restituted to the Panamenians. Somalia is a heap of problems of Soviet and Chinese make. Go there and you will find Chinese men. Haiti is a bless from the French. Dominican Republic is paradise, when compared to Haiti. Nicaragua and El Salvador have been devastated by comunism / socialis. Go back to school and learn. atribute problems to their creators.

  • @tiberio135 The problem with you is your misinformation. Why do you refer to everything in the third person? You list USA as your country, so what? you one of those sneak in types? If it's not your country, feel free to make for the exit. What have we done for the world without taking something back? Your joking right? What other nation has ever spent the money on reconstruction we have" Not China and certainly not Russia. They created most of them. As for my big mouth, 1st amendment, pusscake

  • To my 16 fallen shipmates off of the USS Saratoga 1972 and friends I knew while growing up that never came back I'll never forget you. I will force myself to visit the wall someday and hopefully will rid the bad from my mind and remember the good.

  • @dbworld54 ,God be with you always , I lost a brother in 68 TET offensive, Iwill always Honor and Respect all our VETS living ,kia or mia!!!

  • God Bless free Vietnam people !

  • @trickpa80 "Free Vietnam" people, you are joking right? Or is it you simply don't know what freedom is, or, you consider currently living under one of the most repressive communist regimes free? Children should not comment on what the clearly know nothing about. If you weren't there, you don't know", it is that simple. What information you have is supplied in a very biased and one sided fashion. Free Vietnamese people,,,,, If that weren't so pathetic, it would be funny.

  • @GunBroker100

so what? you go to Vietnam, invade, kill, rape, looting, and continue doing so with other countries claiming chemical weapons and bla bla, looting oil, killing families and come here to talk about communism? enough to invent history to invade other countries .. free people are free people of the greed of the United States, and deserve to die while not respect the home and the sovereignty of other nations and peoples, are not welcome and never will be!

  • @trickpa80 So,all you have is propaganda. Foisted on you by biased media and your own government run schools. Sadly, like most of your generation, you believe in nothing beyond your own self gratification. No research, no fact finding, just thank anti-American nonsense. Congratulations, you are the perfect stooge you call others. Save the greed speech, your government is no different. Does it not deal with others to make a profit? Yes, it does is the correct answer. Cont.

  • @GunBroker100 Tell me, If any of the things you call inventions, chemical weapons, Bio-weapons, etc are used against your perfect Brazil, what then? It's easy to throw stones and call names from the relative obscurity of a developing nation. No real stake in any of the worlds affairs, beyond tourism. What does Brazil or Brazilians really do that matters to anyone beyond outside Brazil? Nothing. Perhaps, your economy would do better without trade with the U.S. Go to Carnival and have a drink.

  • @GunBroker100

Oh brother...you are another one of those clueless superpatriots, right?

You ooze 'exceptionality' dellusions. Face it, your nation is NOT regarded as u people think.

Do u have wet dreams that people is in awe of usans? It could be. But, not the way u think.

U don't even know that you won Nam ! How sad is that. Look, grab a REAL history book. It'll do u well.

U talk about so much BS, about , 'freedom', propaganda, relevance, humanity. foreign aid...military only u must mean.

  • @tiberio135 Nam is today a Capitalist country. Capitalism has won. Freedom has won. The minds and intelligence of the people turned to freedom and capitalism.

There is nobody in Nam preaching for comunism.

    Freedom won. We won!

  • @paulotakeda well - i think as capitalism you refear as democratic system ... - ok, so it be - they got a bit of free market and some sort of democracy - but they would have it much earlier with far less pain and suffering without the american invasion ....:-/ and don´t claim you were fighting for the freedom of the vieatnamese people. - if so, why did the american goverment finace the entire french war in vietnam, which tried to get back indochina as there colonie.

  • @paulotakeda

    Ok serf, YOU won !

Just remember, none are more hopelessly enslaved than those who falsely believe they are "free".

That must be the reason why the banksters can take your national treasure without a peep from the "freeple"...they must know that you are liberated form the constraints of a brain. Have a niceeeeeee dayyyyyyyyyyyy. Plop.

  • @GunBroker100

when we need, we will do it, kick your ass again, end the conversation HERO!

  • Música demaaaaaaaaisssss MAS AQUELA GUERRA, UMA ESTUPIDEZ POR DINHEIRO, PODER,... Um povo tão poderoso mas tão sofrido. Valeu a pena?

  • Please, does any one knows in what context / time lapse does the photo at 1:50 was taken?

  • @MegaRoFLL - This was taken probably around 1968. President Johnson was listening to a taped recording of a serviceman over in Vietnam. I read this as a caption when I saw this picture many, many years ago. Perhaps you can Google some info about it. Johnson is visibly distraught after hearing the tape.

  • @joltinjack Thank you for your input.

  • @joltinjack at 2:05 is a family running up to their loved one. This is one of my favorite phots ever. Who is the Soldier and is there video of this homecoming

  • @MegaRoFLL Isn't that LBJ the President

  • The other side of that coin is Kent State where students exercising the freedom you fought to protect by peacefully protesting were gunned down. War is hell ...mostly for the poor and middleclass. We never win. We will only win when we unite and see who the true enemy is and stop being sheep easily led into madness. Everybody needs to wake up. Now is the time. I thank a vet and give a handshake everytime I meet one regardless of what war. Why? Because I know the score. Peace my man and Thanks.

  • @Fireye69Rich man's war poor man's fight.Fubar!!

  • God bless ya Bro. If that happened to you then that is not only wrong it is evil. Most people are sheep and are easily led astray. Especially in heated situations such as Vietnam. I have heard these stories and they always turn out to be urban legends or a few incidets blown out of proportion. There are such things as agent provocaturs whose job is to set the sheep off in a wrong direction to pit one group against the other. Search Youtube you will see them exposed. Thanks 4 yer service

  • @Fireye69 These were NOT Urban legends, I did 3 tours in the left door of a Dust0ff. Between tours I would take a brief leave. 2 out of my 3 returns I got excrement thrown at me. Once was human. If you didn't live it, don't try to be an expert.. Go research the news footage from 1970/1971. There was no Youtube then, only men dying at 200-300 a week. 10x what the current war is. I can still tell the difference between human and animal blood , and yes I remember the hate I got for saving lives.

  • A VERY MOVING AND POINGNANT VIDEO,WHAT A FRUITLES WAR AND WASTE OF LIFE IMHO. I HAVE TO ADMIT AFTER LISTENING TO THIS NOSTALGIC SONG AGAIN ON ANOTHER CHANNEL I HAD TO TURN THE SOUND OFF,,,IT WOULD HAVE BEEN FAR TOO EMOTIONALFOR ME AT THIS PRESENT TIME.BUT THANKS FOR SHARING,IVE NOTHING BUT ADMIRATION FOR ALL YOU VIETNAM VETERANS.BEST WISHES FROM DWM.UK.

  • i must have been eleven when my father would come home with the weight of the day sit in his chair and stare out the window the sun would set and i could see his figure in the darnkness of the room a dim light of his cigarette the only sign of life. i could not understand why he did this everyday. years later i understood the pain he was carrying everyday. he had lost all his buddies in the war. i wish i could have my father back.

  • GREAT SONG EVEN BETTER WITH THIS VIDEO

Makes you remember what the GREAT SERVICEMEN of that time went through

GOD BLESS all of you and THANK YOU for your service

  • I was 12 years old when I first heard this song. I remember it was played a lot when I was in school. It brings back a lot of memories from my time in the service in the mid 70's. Great Song!

  • What a great song to let us all believe what we want; true, or otherwise. I know where I was when this song was released, and I remember how much I liked it. I hope all will stop the sorrow in their lives and remember the best things.

  • I remember when I cam back from Nam and had to take out a group of policeman trying to hunt me in the woods.......oh wait ......That was John Rambo.

    "THEY DREW FIRST BLOOOOAGHD!"
