Gimp is a great software but the developers are stupid.....why do they have to make it really difficult to change language on this software

To open the system property window do this:

rightclick on "my computer" > properties > and then go to advanced.

thnx, i alredy knew how to do it.. but this is easier. (y)

btw, i did it this way:

create a .bat file with this text:

set lang=en

C:\Program Files\GIMP-2.0\bin\

start gimp-2.6.exe

depending on your program path and version it might not be exactly the same... but after saving that as a .bat file just open it and it will run GIMP in english. No restart needed :)

i know but i just don't like to open up a bat file, just want to open up the original :D

Yeah but there is no difference, exept that you can't change the icon of the bat file...

I found a solution for that. If you create a shortcut to the bat file, you can change the icon of the shortcut.

I still think your way is easier to follow.
