first time i saw a doe dual power i was blown away there wasnt that many in suffolk as they were mainly sold in essex. unfortunatly they fell prey to h&s regs and the factory produced 4wd tractors
idea for this macine first came about in the early 50's. thought up originally by an essex farmer ernest doe first manufactured using the major skid units, then went on to use the newer 6x series skids to produce the doe 130 an later the doe 150. some of the last doe machines were retro-fitted with turbocharged engines producing in the region of approx 180hp.

This was one economical design to double tractor HP,.Downunder Farmer had begun to try this in the late 1960's,..Fords 5000 were few popular.
