how do you start the sword combo again so quickly like at 1:45? you stop the combo just before the last swing and start it over again. how do you do that?
I don't stop the combo just before the last swing.
In fact, I speed up the recovery process right after the fourth swing by making a whole circle with the left analogue stick during the fourth swing. This allows you to attack faster than Nelo can block.
ah ic. is that an unofficial trick or was it intended? kinda sucks for me cuz i beat the game today and never got to use that trick. but thanks! i'll find it useful beating hard mode
You are a god...it took me forever to beat Vergil. I found one way to kinda cheat if you don't want a time bonus though; once you get to the second face, lure him near the edge of the wall, then taunt him until your DT gauge fills up. Activate your devil trigger so that you can restore your health and Air Raid him. Then keep doing it until you're at full health. Plus you can do it again at the third phase. But I didn't know you could get that much damage in before he shielded himself.
I realize my ignorance now, consider it a complement i thought you were cheating thats, just how good you are. Thanks again for the videos i am trying to learn from them and i have learned alot.

i myself have seen the last fatality plenty of times. those phantom dogs/wolves kick my butt all the time. this game is way hard!

If you mean the Shadow: It's a critical hit. Pumping it full of lead when you're on the spike can kill it. ;p
