Why would anyone ever get an ipod shuffle?

There are much better alternatives.

For example a sansa clip.

Same size. Has a display. Has radio. Has same sound quality (some say better actually). Radio. Microphone. Longer battery time, and more. And it cost half of a shuffle!

Grrrrrrrrrrr! my one keeps sayin " "X Ipod" cannot be synced, the required disk cannot be found" I hve tried EVERYTHING!!!! I managed to get some songs on it somehow, but when I sync it, it just freezes for 5 mins then that error message comes up! realy annoying, can anyone help?

sorry, the first generation ipod shuffle has sigmatel chip not the second one, thats just sad. Because of that, sound quality of the 2nd Generation is not as good.

I am getting that for Christmas. I saw it and touched it and it was shiny....soooo shiny. I got a fingerprint on it and nearly died. I hate fingerprints. They turn up all the time on ipods.

Probably the only decent mp3 player released by Apple...very nice compact design...other then that thier ipod nano, normal ipod, and ipod video are crap compared to whats out now...the only thing thats good is thier marketing...
