@lisacmeier Yup, another case of human stupidity in action. Dog was just rescued from drowning the day before, add lots of strange people, cameras, lights and a strange woman grabbing his face and then putting her face in his (which is aggressive body language to a dog) and the snap she got was inevitable. If it was a smaller dog she would have still gotten the same response. It was the owner's fault and the woman's ignorance, not the dog's fault.

It takes a group of people to state that red is a good color to make people think about WHY they do or do not like red. I know, right? The dog was traumatized the day before and showed good manners. A human would have been in a hospital for a few days but they dragged the poor dog into a TV studio - bright lights, loud, strangers running around = very busy - and get into his and the owner's faces to do their so important story. First, the owner should have refused until the dog recovered. I might have refused totally unless they wanted to come out to my place a week later. Dogs aren't people, period.

@711spaz Bad news travels fast unfortunately. I worry more about the dogs reputation affecting their future pups than I do about the dogs. In the wrong hands, the breed will never live down their reputation. Not everyone can be a pitbull owner. I can't simply because I have a fear of strong dogs, for the same reason I cannot own a horse. I love them, but they scare me and they know it, which in turn spooks them. Bad combo. I love to LOOK at pitbulls because they're cute and have beautiful tone.

I would be so hurt to see these animals end up homeless. The thought sickens me. I am also glad they sleep indoors. I find it disgusting to see these pets left outside day and night. They are not wildlife they shouldn't be treated as such. In Green Bay you will often see them left outside. Like they're going to build a nest! Sad.

Recently someone sent me a twisted pic of a pit bull pup that had been killed by humans, not a small pup but young. I am scared of some dogs , yes , but I hate to see them suffer, that's different.I would never stand by to see any animal treated poorly whether I'm afraid of them or not. That's why I would rather see them not born at all than given to bad humans

My AmStaff (avatar) died in 2010 at 14. If you are afraid of dogs he would have been the perfect dog for you as you wouldn't have known him from a beagle. I have a Chihuahua and they are demanding whereas the AmStaff was laid back. If you like to get out and walk he was the best walking buddy in the world. I never froze in these NE winters, either. He was a 101* bed warmer. Since you like to chime in on this topic you owe it to yourself to meet one of these guys and learn the truth.

Awww..... 2:38 cracked me up... and the whole thing choked me up!!! I have 3 "pit bull type" mixes.... and I wouldn't trade them for anything on this planet! My sister was killed in 07 and my dog Mollie was the only one that could reach me, comfort me, for 3 months after she was killed in a car wreck. Then in 09, after I had adopted Bella and we were going through Obedience classes, my best friend died of a heart attack. I couldn't have gotten through it without Bella. They are great dogs.

To Whoever , It's not that Pit bulls are ALWAYS vicious. More times than not. BUT the damage they , can inflict is usually quite severe. They are stronger than most dogs so in being so, they are dangerous. All dogs are quite capable of attacking children. I wouldn't recomend having a small child around a tea cup poodle unattended. They get bit often because the dogs don't understand their intentions. Even small children are known to bite occasionally, we know this but dogs don't.

Thank you so much for posting this video!!! I own a pitbull mix who would lay down his very life myself or any child even if he didnt know them. This breed I believe stands above the rest for loyalty, strength and love. They strive so hard to make us happy that they will do whatever it is we want them to do, even when it means they might die. I dont know many other breeds that would even do that.

Dog was just rescued from drowning the day before, add lots of strange people, cameras, lights and a strange woman grabbing his face and then putting her face in his (which is aggressive body language to a dog) and the snap she got was inevitable. If it was a smaller dog she would have still gotten the same response. It was the owner's fault and the woman's ignorance, not the dog's fault.

It takes a group of people to state that red is a good color to make people think about WHY they do or do not like red. I know, right? The dog was traumatized the day before and showed good manners. A human would have been in a hospital for a few days but they dragged the poor dog into a TV studio - bright lights, loud, strangers running around = very busy - and get into his and the owner's faces to do their so important story. First, the owner should have refused until the dog recovered. I might have refused totally unless they wanted to come out to my place a week later. Dogs aren't people, period.

@711spaz Bad news travels fast unfortunately. I worry more about the dogs reputation affecting their future pups than I do about the dogs. In the wrong hands, the breed will never live down their reputation. Not everyone can be a pitbull owner. I can't simply because I have a fear of strong dogs, for the same reason I cannot own a horse. I love them, but they scare me and they know it, which in turn spooks them. Bad combo. I love to LOOK at pitbulls because they're cute and have beautiful tone.

My sister was killed in 07 and my dog Mollie was the only one that could reach me, comfort me, for 3 months after she was killed in a car wreck. Then in 09, after I had adopted Bella and we were going through Obedience classes, my best friend died of a heart attack. I couldn't have gotten through it without Bella. They are great dogs.

To Whoever , It's not that Pit bulls are ALWAYS vicious. More times than not. BUT the damage they , can inflict is usually quite severe. They are stronger than most dogs so in being so, they are dangerous. All dogs are quite capable of attacking children. I wouldn't recomend having a small child around a tea cup poodle unattended. They get bit often because the dogs don't understand their intentions. Even small children are known to bite occasionally, we know this but dogs don't.

Thank you so much for posting this video!!! I own a pitbull mix who would lay down his very life myself or any child even if he didnt know them. This breed I believe stands above the rest for loyalty, strength and love. They strive so hard to make us happy that they will do whatever it is we want them to do, even when it means they might die.
