you need internet to download maps ,then you can switch to the offline mode

it does not need wifi, you only need wifi to get your maps then it works with its own gps receiver, this thing is sick!

Because you need an app called cydia which u can only get by jailbreaking ur phone

google doesnt want to take laibility for giving you instructions to like drive off road or into a river or something

if you jailbreak, they can say you stole the info or something and sayt that they didnt give you the instructions

if you dont want to jailbreak

and you have a 3g

you could download the app called gmap

and it has all maps preloaded

I just installed this, hopefully it works as well as it looks :) I'm happy to finally see some useful features on the iPhone.
