I haven't been posting much anywhere lately, if you've noticed. I've been spending a lot of time with family, tons of time at my day job, and dealing with health issues, so finding time to make videos is difficult.

@WorldOfANerd Yeah, i figured the shavette handle isn't really the important thing, as long as it's somewhat sturdy. The blades are what's important, so I bought one with a few included blades, and I figured I'd try a few different kinds of blades to see what I like best.

Batumi was absolutely amazing, and all of the areas around there that we got to visit. It definitely wouldn't have been the same without the delegates from the Georgian government, but even without them, I'd love to come back for a vacation someday.

No, not the beard! It's fine, I live in Florida too and it's always hot and humid. About 3 hours south of Orlando in Pembroke Pines on the edge of the Everglades. You would love it, 85% humidity and mosquitoes everywhere. You would be bald after a few days

Regarding the opera, I think the "subtitles" thing is done almost everywhere in Europe. All the operas I've been to in France have the "subtitles" displayed in French, and I have seen English on more than one occasion.

@hheintze1 I actually picked up a shavette to start with. uses a disposable safety razor blade (half of one, at least). I figure if I can shave with that, and enjoy it, I can invest a bit more and pick up a Dovo straight razor and strop, but we'll see what happens.

I do sort of miss the beard. Without it, you look far too professional. Not that's a super terrible thing, but I wouldn't expect a blue suit IBM guy to give me my Linux news. Try a goatee if it interests you, it keeps the hot parts of your face light but still maintains a laid back appeal.

On the next TWILN you should mention that Minecraft is getting close to its full release and if you want it for its discounted beta price you need to get it before the full version is released (probably by the end of the year or first part of next year) Why on TWIL? Because its (in my opinion) a major game that is compatible and supported for Linux. (its java based) So it'd be cool to hear that mentioned. Doesn't have to be.
