I just would not go for the xbox 360 (although i am a fan of it and its exclusive games) because i need a console that reliable. not one that has a failure rate of 30%!!! I dont wanna dish out my money on something that is just gonna break. I was talking to some people at gamestop and best buy and i asked which should i buy, so the guy took me aside and said look, i see so many xbox's getting returned because of failure its ridiculous dont buy it, buy the ps3. i was shocked he was so blunt

@giannaluva65 the new 360s have a less chance of dyin and i take of my things very carefully that 360 might die in 4 or 5 years MAYBE but even if it does i can return it at costco 4 a nu one their return policy is awesome anytime u can return the defective 360 so after 10 years i can exchange one for money or another one but its gunna be a LOONG time till it dies trust me...but when i get a job ill pick up a ps3 in due time

@giannaluva65 Actually, I believe the failure rate is higher then that. Also, I wouldn't be shocked considering I'm sure they lose some money when those consoles are returned. They want to make sure they don't lose any money, especially in these trying economic times.

@giannaluva65 ppl usually get the rrod cuz they play 4 wayyyy tooo long and game players have no lives so they end up with an overheated 360...th reason mine messed up cuz my bro was actually playin it 4 most of the day while i was gone and i came back and it was on till morn and was frozen...ill never leave it on again...and i just like 360 better than ps3 i cud get a ps3 but again i chose to get 360

i went nutz when sheamus won lol and rrod is red ring of death which is 3 red flashing lights on ur xbox that signifies system failure...it was my fault i take care of my things but i came back from a party at like 3 in the morn and wanted to watch a dvd and had to use my 360 cuz my dvd player was broke n my laptop hard drive was messed up so i used my 360 and fell asleep and woke up with it on and frozen it had problems 4 a while and eventually died
