toyota tundra has the best engine among all the truck no matter it is ford or cheverolet or dodge. this engine has got the latest technology and all the features one can imagine. and it is capable of producing more than 600hp. no matter what they say about tundra but it is the best reliable vehicle. yeah the frame could have been fully boxed. but still. i am not being biased. just plain truth. no other truck can come even close as far as the reliability is concerned. this engine is bullet proof

did you upgrade the internals? I heard that the 1uz-fe rods are very weak and is not meant for forced induction or abusive driving.

@tou52 yes the 2uzfe (4.7 tundra) have the weakest rods of the uzfe family. wielrd i know. whats worse is the 1uzfe (4.0 lexus) of the year 93 i wanna say have the strongest of the uzfe line. but if would switch stock for something else stock no matter if it is stronger so deff need new rods even if thats all u get. these rods are not rated for more than 500hp i do believe.
