Which transfer paper i should use and which ink? I want to do printing on 80% cotton and 20% polyester?

@ahsen08215 transfer print would be good for polyester more than 60~70% else your color will not be bright.. the paper should be sublimation paper & sublimation inks.

@cripsane the ciss are refillable by using bottled sublimation inks. For calculation at an average 1 sq. mt of full print takes about 12~15 ml of ink..

@skterguy4000 Hello. No the above process works only on polyester or blends but not on 100% cotton. For 100% cotton you need pigment ink printer.

what type of ink is this, if this isnt eco solvent ink surely it will fade in the wash?? the only solvent printers are wide format. are these just low quality cheap prints?

@ariana29x No.. these are high quality sublimation inks.. there are many suppliers like sawgrass, etc. The sublimation inks give fastness of grade 5.

@quiko888 yes.. it would work even the polyester is 50%. The colors might be little lighter depending on the texture of fabric.

sublimation inks works on with polyester..

it is 200 deg cent. ... for cotton there are machines which print directly.. but costing between 10k to 25k us$... let me know if you are interested in such machines.. you can also visit my website or send me mail. I will send you more info accordingly..

this is called SUBLIMATION PAPER.

Can be done only on polyester fabric or polyester blended fabric.

Also the inks are sublimation inks.

30 to 40 secs is enough with 180 to 200 deg temp... also depends on the fabric.

can also transfer on leather.

Although Sublimation will only work on white or light colors it is the best way to do shirts. It cannot fade, peel or crack. And the best printers are not epsons but the Ricoh e3300n which uses a gel sublimation ink.

depends on the resolution u print on. But as a standard for calculation 10 to 15 ml can print 1 square meter. The inks come in 1 lit packing.

Normally the sublimation works with polyester or polyester blend (more than 50%) tshirts.. the designs dont fade and it has good washibility.

frankly for 100% cotton better use the light transfer paper. We have spray coating but the fastness only upto 3-4 grade.

Hey, just got 1 question. I've ask everywhere if i could print just one design of mine in a tshirt but they tell me it isn't posible cuz it would be too expensive. As far as i've seen in your video it seems to be really posible :S... is there any catch ? like i dunno maybe you can only use once the ink cartridge or something like that ?
