  • di ko gets un gotesco engineer. can somebody explain?

  • JOEY!

  • sangayon ako na gawing national artist for music si yoyoy villame... dahil timeless at transcending through generations ang kanyang music... maari mong malimutan kung sino ang original ng isang ballad na OPM pero kahit sino pang mag-cover ng kanta ni yoyoy e yoyoy pa rin yun... forever at immortal na si yoyoy kung tutuusin... mas malalim ang impluwnsya nya compared kina gary v at martin... dahil lahat tayo nakikinig ng mageksersays tuwing flag ceremony nun

  • actually, samsonlovesjuliet, only Filipinos call chinese noodles, meaning noodles prepared the chinese way, "mami". the Chinese call noodle dishes, meaning dishes that contain noodles, "mi"(fookien) or "mien"(mandarin). i personally believe that the relatively local word "mami" is derived from Ma Mon Luk's name... because it "mami" actually means "the noodles made/cooked/prepared/sold by Mr. Ma" , "Ma" being his surname and "Mon Luk" being his given name...

  • Bob Ong?

  • good suggestions; just one misinformation--"mami" does not come from Ma Mon Luk's name, but it comes from two Fookien words, "ma" which means "meat" and "mi" which means noodles. This is because Chinese usually put some meat in their noodles (e.g., beef, chicken). That is why it is actually wrong to call instant noodles "instant mami," because there really is no "ma" in the "mi."
