It won't work. I hit the record button, then hit the Automation and Score button, and then its recording. Next I cycle through a few drum beats but it won't work, it just plays the length of 2 seconds and stops and won't let me record any automation and score . ? :(
@RDragonsSlayer16 What I do is select the pattern i want to use with fpc. open fpc and hit the left and right arrows and it puts it in the piano roll then i tweak it that way
Hey I have a question. I need to create a drum beat throughout my whole piece and want to use the drum machine by clicking the arrows and just changing it that way while it records into the score. How do I record it that way?
I have a question though. Could you please to me how to adjust the velocity of each individual part of the FPC drumkit? Obviously, as the entire kit is assigned one channel in the step sequencer, I can't do it the way I normally would. I can't work out how to do it in the piano roll either.
@rythmking24 Sure man, open the fpc up in the piano roll instead and program your drums that way. When you do that, you can use the bottom of the piano roll to edit the velocity of each hit in the fpc :) if you don't know what I mean. Let me know. Ill make a short tutorial to show you how!
@RidiousProductions Thanks man. I couldn't work out how to adjust the velocity of a single piece of drumkit, when more than one piece was sounding on the same beat. If you get me :-/ I eventually figured out that you need to use the 'select' tool, on the piano roll, to choose the piece of kit from the left hand side (piano keys). Then make adjustments.
Anyway, great tutorials. There are so many by other people. But I've found yours to be the most concise. Cheers again.
whenever i map my mpk 25 pads to fpc it doesnt save my mapping can you help me
