  • im sorry but your accent...its terrible

  • Im sorry...I couldnt watch all of this vid...It annoys me when Americans and other nationalities take the piss out of out accent...We all dont sound like that...

  • @nathancallow31 Every accent has its stereotype and everyone imitates accents. It's fun, harmless if you keep a light attitude, and really isn't something to complain about. I live in Scotland and I was once told that I didn't sound American at all because I didn't have a southern drawl. Since we all apparently sound like we come from Mississippi... =P

  • @ladyariande I understand where you're getting at...It still irritates me though when that's all I hear on Xbox Live...It drives me insane...

  • @nathancallow31 Lol, well if you take anything said on Xbox Live (or YouTube for that matter) too personally, you will live life as a very angry person. It would seem better to experience people face to face and then, perhaps, make judgments. But never about everyone. That's the thing. The thousands of assholes in any given country are only a small percentage compared to the millions who aren't.

  • @ladyariande Well that's the thing...I didn't say it was everyone that i've met doing it...I generally can get on with anyone and i'm not a very angry person (In fact, i'm quite the opposite to that)...It's just those select few that do it that annoy me...

  • @nathancallow31 Fair enough, and definitely the jerks who DO make disparaging stereotypes are annoying. I guess it's just when you say 'Americans and other nationalities' you sound like you are lumping them all together - pointing particularly at Americans - , and saying that they all do it all the time, rather than making a statement about the 'select few'. But that's not what you mean, and I appreciate the difference.

  • @ladyariande Yeah...looking back on it now...I realize that I should have rephrased what I said...

  • @nathancallow31 The perils of YouTube commentary are being unable to really say what you mean the way you mean it. But if a discussion ends amicably, I call that a win. No hard feelings from this American.... Though I don't think I dare imitate an Aussie accent now! =P

  • Look at the most popular map

  • You live in san diego there eucalyptus everywhere

  • Aborginal are the most backwards race ever --

50,000 years of history and they couldn't even invent the wheel.

In fact after 50,000 years the best they could come up with is a stick

  • @badpanda84 Kind of true. But you can't blame the Aborigines for that. History tells us we started in Africa (minimal knowledge) then ended up in Europe and Asia (a lot of knowledge). So this tells us, the more we have to change our lifestyle and adapt to new things the smarter we become. And its just that Aborigines did not have to do that, as no factors forced them to change. But now with reconciliation, we are changing that.

  • @badpanda84 Because they didn't need to. Because of their lifestyle they never faced famine, plague or large scale warfare. While Europeans were being oppressed by the church, constantly warring, living in filth and dying from all kinds of diseases the Aborigines were living off the land and were possibly one of the most free societies ever to exist.

  • they have digerdos in the game spore!(you makes your own species)

  • Lol @ ur accent

mate we don't sound like that

maybe 150 years ago but not now

  • wait wait wait.... kangaroos make a noise?

  • @YeahIWrestledaBear Um sort of but the noise they make for the didgeridoo is acually the kind of sound they make when they bounce so like boing boing boing

  • love the show, but we aren't friends right now! :P

  • My God .. it sounds just like us simple Aussie bastards! G'day mate! How ya gaan? One small mistake... we don't call them kookooburras, kookaburra will do! If you really want to take the piss out of us....message me for some Australian place names you would not believe! Love the show! :)

  • lol, nice attempt at our accent but you sounded like a cross between working class Pom and a South African Afrikaner . XD

  • I prefer your Scottish accent :)

  • You better be careful there mate, some might find that a little racist, and there is no is no Australian that sounds like that. you sounded more British than anything.

  • @Ichigoe yea well ur a 84 year old gaja kua (elephant gravy) with your foot glued to a rotting banana peel

  • Just... one... more... video!

  • 3:24 CRICKEY! lmao

  • Dude r u making fun of aussies coz if u r

  • @horseknuckle

    you're dumb.

  • @horseknuckle if u r... what? ur gonna tie him to a log and set him adrift in the middle of the Arctic Ocean? Seriously?

  • coo coo burra'a LOL !!!

  • I've heard that circular breathing takes 10 years to learn how to do, and another 10 years to learn how to do well.

  • I actually thought that was a pretty good Australian accent. Granted, a bit of a bogan one, but still. I could be offended by this portrayal of an Australian but it's just too damn funny, and, well...true.

    Also, brilliant didgeridoo skillz.

  • @YerMum123 hi im australian and most of us dont speek like that: thats an outback accent the most common accent is very simmila to the english accent

  • Heh. Its kinda weird bringing up aboriginals and dingoes. Since they (dingos, not aboriginals) were introduced 300 years ago by settlers or something. Or was it africans on a boat with dog like creatures. Something like that. Anyways the point is. Dingos are legally native, but they arent... So they arent a major part of aboriginal culture... Nice accent btw.

  • Not too bad of a stab at the accent. Just don't try it over here or play the didgeridoo in public, you'll get a punch in the face and a fine, respectively.

Yeah, the Aboriginals are racists, white people aren't allowed to play one of those in public. Nor are White people allowed to evict aboriginals from their own properties (property of the white man / non aboriginal). Racists.

  • @Zappyguy111 Who told you white people cant play the didgeridoo in public? I dont believe it one bit.

  • Comment removed

  • Sounds like a dingo... playing a didgeridoo!

  • We aussies don't all speak like Steve Irwin (R.I.P) a lot of us shockingly don't even say Crikey! : o It's like a revelation!!!!!

  • Thumbs up if he reminded you of Andy Bernard from The Office right at the beginning of the video

  • I like how this video turned into American vs. Australian. I tried to play one of these once. It didn't go so well, so I'll stick to piano ;P

  • well done

  • Do WhatYouOughtToKnow about music!

  • What You Ought To Know on MUSIC!! I demand it! :D Love you guys! :D

  • Abysmal accent bro.

A little bit culturally insensitive as well.

  • that was a prety gud aussi acsent...........

  • Two things, one nice accent but australians don't actually sound like that, only the bogans and two you pronounced Kookaburras wrong. But LOVE the show though :)

  • very nice accent :)

  • The only reason the didgiridu is so simple is so Abos can play them, Aboriginals are twenty times more likely to go to prison that a white Australia. FACT.

  • Sure it's a fact, but just like every other statistic like that, showing that pretty much every race that is not the ones in control of their country are alchoholics, drug addicted and criminal. Are not proof that they are inferior, just that they feel they are lesser than the general population and fall into a well developed sosial groups that systematically turn them into criminals. FACT, asshole.

  • Aboriginals arent fucked up because they arent in control of their country. They arent in control of their country because they are fucked up. Stop making excuses you weak little cowering pussy.

  • @RoronoaZoro222 "sosial"? is that some kind of food? Like sauce?

  • I know this video is in good taste, But I just wanted to let any females watching NOT to try it. Any Australian Aboriginal watching knows it can be very dangerous to women.

  • @muppetspuppets how so?

  • I don't know a lot about it, it is against some of their laws and customs.

Something about the diaphram and the womb. Especially dangerous if they are pregnant.

  • @muppetspuppets It is not a health issue. It is just a stupid Aboriginal rule.

  • @muppetspuppets Bullshit, Did you hear that from an Abo? They also think women can get pregnant from playing it, and some tribes allow the raping of women who touch a didg. !!!! It is all here for you to see for yourself, didjshop.com/shop1/FAQscart_playing_didgeridoo.html

  • I like the accent, wish i could do it...to bad i was born in Australia, Americans just do it too well :S

  • I know your joking but thats not how aussies talk. Also now we just use normal wood. And chinese make them now. Not aboriginals. Whenever i go to america i always tell my freinds that we have to be carefull of "Drop Bears" And we ride kangaroos to school and hunt and eat crocodiles. Ameracans can be so dumb. No offenece amerricans. You make 90% of the things i love.

  • Could you please do me a favour and just let everyone know that anyone attempting to make/play a didgeridoo that it IS in fact a very sacred instrument and in Aboriginal culture females are FORBIDDEN to play it. its sexist i know but its their instrument and their beliefs.. i'd like people to respect that.

    thank you :)

  • thats only partly true, aboriginals have many different tribes and each has their own belief, only at some tribes its forbidden for women, at others it isnt. also there are about 40 to 50 known names for a "didgeridoo". like this guy says you can make a didgeridoo out of a pvc pipe or some bamboo and call it a didgeridoo all the same. saying women cant play that aswell is, like you said, sexist.

  • @damnedafterall That is not the case everywhere. Only in certain tribes.

  • But sniffing petrol through it is totally acceptable

  • Mate not only was that a good accent but that was awesome. I'm australian and I sometimes wonder why we are Down under.

  • lmao soooooo funny :D although he said kookooburra not kookaburra

  • LMAO The very first Yank that can do a passable (almost!) Aussie accent.

The "g'day" sounded a bit Kiwi though :)

  • I'm australian and i don't understand why people are offended with you putting on the accent.

it made me giggle :) keep up the good work

  • wow that accent was....interesting :) but we dont sound like that!!! thats steve irwin.

  • lol... i really hate that americans think we sound like that .. haha.. we dont all sound like Steve Erwin on crack rest his soul.. i myself have made tutorials on here and i sound nothing like that bahahaha... loser

  • Ha ha ha!! Wow, that was a terrible attempt at our accent, but damn do we Aussies love to laugh at those Americans who are game enough to give is a crack. :D

  • @filmguru Very few of us Aussies actually have this accent =P

  • @olligobber Well... we do we just don't notice it... Cause were so used to it.

  • @filmguru I apologize, us Americans always manage to end up sounding like Steve Irwin (RIP) No matter how hard they try, they end up saying "cricky!"

  • @filmguru There isn't many who can get different accents correct even us canadians laugh at those who ATTEMPT our accent and FAIL XD you'd think it'd be easy :P

  • ..... :( i play the violin

  • hahaha if you wanna have real fun pain tup your kid in some stripes and have him play a hollow log

  • love it

  • hahahah!!! i love your austraila accent :D

  • HAHAHAHA

  • lol although he sound like fucking jack sparrow

  • omg, he realy does :D

  • im aussie, most times i cringe at other countries trying to do our accent but this guy is actuall gunny

  • Says someone that has the personality that compels you to insult people on the internet for no reason.

  • ROFLMAO!!! haha!

  • this is my favorite one so far

  • really bad ozi accent mate

  • simple is my middle name. i think. lol by the way

  • actually it has a single key based on length and diameter

  • o-o

some dude came to my 7th hour and taught us about it and let us use it if we wanted to

    o-o

    lol

  • lol. the stereotypical Australian is so out of whack..

  • I know.... Bloody Americans... :D

  • We have a real one in the house actually some 3 feet from me. You lose interest in them pretty fast.

  • Only if you suck at playing it

  • I have one around 20 ft away :(

Yer, i can't play it. The dudes really good.

And no, you bloody Americans ruined our accent :P

    Have fun with your pipes.

  • Actually it was the Irish prisoners during WW1 that were sent to Australia that helped ruin the accent. As well as the British, that's why you guys say "bloody" as part of your language. I love Australia though. One of the most beautiful places on earth.

  • whatcha talking bout? he talked exaclty like you!

  • haha. that sound reminds me of Rocko's Modern Life :)

  • "koooookooobarah"? ya gotta shortin it, mate! try cook-ah-bhrah.

  • Wtf, Australians (yes, i'm Australian) say Kookaburah. Not Kookahbrah.

    4 syllables, not 3.

  • "Sounds like a Dingo...playing a didgeridoo" lmao

  • Ahh. Band Geek Language. I understood every word of that. Puffing your cheeks and breathing through your nose, I believe its called circular breathing and its very hard to do. And the spitting everywhere...lol, I'd like to think of that as an amateur way of buzzing.

    Loved your accent.

  • Your dige's made out of dino! Lol. How does that even make sense??

  • Great accent! Can't wait to see you in HD res :D

  • I love this instrument! It's right up there with bagpipes as weirdest instrument ever!

  • You're pretty good, man. Good video.

  • Nice video. I didn't know about the barking aspect of it, sounds interesting. I suggest that you also look into asian(tuva) throat singing and stuff like that, kargyraa, sygyt etc. There is a documentary titled "Genghis Blues", it's pretty interesting.

Instruments like Kou Xiang and other interesting forms of Jew's harps are also worth looking into. The website of an online shop named "danmoi"(fair trade) has many sound samples. I didn't regret buying a Kou Xiang, they're pretty cool.

  • Nice impression(s) haha!

    Didgeridoooooo

  • P.S - WYOTK in 16:9 ftw
