I remember my brother going on this [maybe with my nan or my grandpa] years ago the last time I went to universal and we went there for the day. But I was too small and too afraid to go on it so I remember waiting where those giant eggs were and watching my brother go through. But I didn't like it that day cause I scraped my knee before we even got in the park and it was kinda boring and WAY too hot! But oh well.

@RocketRodder Yeah they put gravel and sand in the supports, box beams, and rails when they built it to help muffel the noise. A large residential area called Williamsburg is litterally right across the four lane highway from Sea World.

@kaios1987 Well, that depends on what you mean by "holidays". If you'r talking about national holidays in May, then the answer is no we don't have any in May. But May is the beginning of th tourist season in Orlando so I wouldn't expect the Que's or lines as wel call them in the USA to be too short. I would expect to see some long lines at Universal's Islands of Adventure, especially in the new Wonderful Wizzarding World of Harry Potter island.

I've never seen it any longer than about and hour and a half. JTA's line can get to 3 hours long during the summer.

I've actuslly seen Manta's line get up to 2 to 3 hours long. But that was last summer when the ride first opened. Right now, it shouldn't be any longer than 30 min to 1hr long.

I am going in October this year, from the uk. I was wondering whether or not to go on this, I have only recently started riding coasters such as air, rita and oblivion at Alton towers. FireHawk @ kings island is like a flying coaster but is sorta like a laying coaster.becuase you start of laying on your back then you go up the hill then you flip[i belive it wasn't built by B&M

Most of the coaster is HIDDEN FROM PUBLIC VIEW. There are two ways to get footage of the cobra roll. One is to do a on-ride POV which Sea World doesn't allow or get permission to go behind the scenes to film it which is next to imposible to get.

I don't know, I've never been on Dragon Kahn. I've only been on two floorless coasters, Kraken and Scream at SFMM. I'm also going to ride Bizzaro (formerly known as Medusa) at Six Flags Great Adventure in a week.

The ride that has the closest layout to Dragon Kahn would be Montu at Busch Gardens Africa because the same inversions occur at the same places, and the cobra roll in Dargon Kahn would be the batwing in Montu. The only difference really is that Dargon Kahn is a B&M twister and Montu is an invert.

Dragon Kahn loop dive loop zero g roll cobra roll MCB's right turn loop turn around interlocking corkscrews Montu loop immelmann(equivalent to the dive loop) zero g roll batwing(equivalent to the cobra roll) MCB's right turn loop turn around and one corkscrew. So therefore Montu and Dragon Kahn have VERY similar layouts.

Hey I have a question for ppl who have been on the Kraken and the Manta....I've never been on either and I'm pretty inexperienced when it comes to roller coasters. I'm probably going there this summer and I'm wondering, which would be the best to go on first?

The biggest thing I've been on is the rockin' roller coaster at Hollywood studios in Disney World.

Being this will be your first time on both coasters, I'd recommend going front row first then back row on Kracken. Then do the same on Manta.

The Rock'n Rollercoaster is one of the best indoor launched coasters I've ever been on, but to compare it with the Kraken and Manta would be like comaring apples to oranges. Yes all three are coasters and they do have inversions. The best way to describe Kraken is like being in your easy chair while going 60mph and with Manta, it's almost like being Superman when you litteraly fly over tree tops, skim over the water, do barrle rolls in the air and have a near miss with a waterfall.

Well, there's only one tunnel on the Kraken and it lasts about a second on the ride. It's also filled with fog sometimes.

An inversion is a ride element that takes you upside down. Here are the inversion elements that are on Kraken, Loop, Dive Loop, Cobra Roll (2 inversions), Loop, Corkscrew. Jeez, an employee there told me it was scarier then the hulk and it's not at all (even the hulk isn't that scary after you ride it for the 2nd or 3rd time). But kraken is still a fun ride.
