Please put Desmond's back on Channel 4. Show the repeats please because we have seen every episode of friends and it is now getting boring. There are no Black actors on British television anymore because there are no good writer's out there who capture the West Indian and African humor and culture. Back in the 80's Black comedy had a lot of contraversy but it was all about getting to know about the Jamacian and African people who came to britain in the 60's 70's and 80's and still today. Please.
How nice (and deserved) that during Channel 4's 20th anniv. celebrations it was Desmond's (and not Drop The Dead Donkey) that was reclaimed as the channel's first truly popular homegrown sitcom and one of it's most influential programmes.
Proving that putting people of ethnicity in lead roles could yield programmes watched by EVERYBODY. Yeah mon!!
i wld bank there YH MON!! lol
