  • FUCK I REMEMBER THIS!

  • Burk v Dora... BURK. SHE'D PUSH HER DOWN THE TRAP DOOR!!

  • THE 90's WERE THE BEST, Now THey have just Ruined Cartoons for every1, CHEEZ TV OWNS THE SHIT OUT OF TOASTED TV

  • @rohannesburg it's sad and the motherfuckers took Gargoyles off and never showed it I loved that show and I mean ABC3 is SHIT!!! I mean Rollercoaster was pretty good but ABC 3 those 2 are so immature

  • thumbs up if you agree that 80s and 90s brought up the best animation series ever!!!

  • @KRAFTWERK2K6

Actually, cartoons back then were no better than what they make today (in fact, probably not as good if anything). It's just that when they came out we were kids, and remembering our childhood is a pleasant experience. Basically, it's not the cartoons that we enjoy, it's remembering being a kid.

The saddest part about all that is that some psychologist actually spent years doing a study to prove it.

  • @Sposchy Fuck off, this show was legit.

  • @alZiiHardstylez

    I don't know about that...

I'm sure someone who didn't grow up in the 90's wouldn't think this show as anything special.

  • @Sposchy Have you seen In The Night Garden?? Fool

  • @julzham

    I have, and it's bad.

But there were bad shows in the 90s too. Remember Teletubbies?

  • @Sposchy Sure do... The pre-cursor to all those crap british nonsense shows. But where are all the shows these days that are, as you say, better than the likes of Trap Door, SuperTed, Babar, Bangers and Mash, BananaMan, Thomas (I know Thomas is still going but all the new characters are rubbish), and etcetera....

  • @julzham

It's out there. I don't watch much children's television anymore, but Wolverine and the X-men and the 2004-ish series of Basil Brush beats them. Ask your nearest 10 year old and they'll be able to list a whole bunch of great 2000s kids shows.

  • @julzham

Anyway, as I mentioned before, it's not the shows themselves we like, it's the reminiscing of our childhood.

I mean, for example, Thomas has only got better over the years with new technology, but you prefer the old one. You said that the new characters are "rubbish". If you watch it again with an analytical mindset, you'll find that the new characters are similar to the old ones. The only difference is that you don't remember the new ones from your childhood.

    That was my point.

  • @Sposchy Looking at the past through rose tinted glasses eh?

  • @Sposchy I think that was too late in the 90s to count. Surely! If not, then it's the shows FROM the 80s and earlier 90s that were best, anyway.

  • @Endelite

We all the shows we watched as kids are the best. If you grew up in a different generation, you'd say the same thing about the cartoons from then.
