I had the honor of meeting Mr. Heston in 2000 in Charlotte NC. I worked at the Park Hotel where he stayed. I met him at about 6am one morning. He took the time to speak to me for about fifteen minutes about his film career, when I delivered him his morning paper. I was in awe as we stood outside his door in the hallway, just me and him. I'll always remember that day when I stood face to face with living history. I'm still in awe of him, I am forever in debt to him for those few minutes.

Wondeful actor....Judah Ben Hur was great and the Ten Commandments,.....few will ever have his screen presence....sadly we must feminize men today...don't think Clark Gable would have done that nor or MOST women attracted to men who need to get "in touch with their feminie side"....movies are droll since the early 70s at best and few will be desired to be watched 30-50 years later. I had the honor of meeting Mr. Heston in 2000 in Charlotte NC. I worked at the Park Hotel where he stayed. I met him at about 6am one morning. He took the time to speak to me for about fifteen minutes about his film career, when I delivered him his morning paper. I was in awe as we stood outside his door in the hallway, just me and him. I'll always remember that day when I stood face to face with living history. I'm still in awe of him, I am forever in debt to him for those few minutes.
