F5-E Tiger "Camo" ARF R/C Jet

I purchased this same jet... but from Hobbyking, not hobby-lobby(same exact jet though)... BEC burned/smoked up during build/testing(not even flown), a retract servo also smoked up during testing. Couldn't get retracts to center(the main gear retracts are NOT adjustible, just a fixed pushrod from servo to retract, no adjustment available - couldn't get them to stop twtiching, so took them off). Jet flies ok(after I fixed it up and put $100 MORE into it...).

I have f 5 ,an would like make it go faster,what do you recommend to up grade it .

JUST to say thanks to dave at hobby lobby i got my f5 camo all set up 2.4 ghz everything working awsome i will do some ground testing before flight been years since i last flew again please thank dave for all his help the idaho guy....

that's mad! i'm new to RC's but are there commercial jets like this that have landiing gears and don't require someone to throw them into the air? hit me back ASAP

@wekwafe yes, the E-flite super airliner is a great commercial jet.
