Eclair 2.1 ROM With Nexus One BootUp For G1/MYT3G Review/Setup

I already rooted my phone from a 1.6 and now have 1.5 firmware. and I know how to get to the recovery screen, but when i hold down "home + back" and press "alt + L" my screen gives me a blue menu with only 3 options. Any idea why? Thankz

Ok this video sucks. You have to do step by step. alot of people won't know how you got to the htc screen. And that where you start your setup. I feel like im coming into the middle.

@FuturoXnovio okay first you have to root it their are many videos on how to do this just search how to root g1, since youre on 1.6 you will need to downgrade it back to the original g1 firmware and then upgrade it to 1.5 and root it which the rooting videos show you how to do (p.s i would recommend you see ItsAndroidsWorlds video on how to root the g1 it simple) and then once youre done rooting it just fallow the steps in this video on how to put the 2.1 rom on youre g1 and you should be done.

I loaded the ROM to my G1 but I can't get the Wireless Router to work and it HOGS all the RAM on my phone upon loading I get the NOTIFICATION about having to delete apps for more memory!?!? Please HELP! thanx

No it doesnt if u dont put on the live wallpapers on

for best performance put a black wallpaper on it saves battery life and doesnt require alot of the phones ram

okay it does by a little bit kinda noticeable but if u have advanced task manger before you put a live wallpaper on use the app to stop apps running in the background these apps slow down the phone and drain the battery and then apply the live wallpaper and it should run just fine

@R2ROsTechHelp I've read with the sophistication of android OS, apps use the same process-ies and the background apps dont drain the battery as much as everyone would think. At the beginning they were a little more useful. In this application it maybe just putting it out there, on here for a friend-got my N1 Nloving IT

I have this and it kool but my youtube app doesn't let me play in high quality. And my music/tunewiki are messed it starts to play but when I press next it gives me an error like can't read sd card AND can't sync to internet? And sumtimes ringdroid doesn't want to read. Please help.

Alot of video drivers dont work on 2.1 roms, but i heard the video camera might be working soon they found a way to make it work. Hope for the best, im using Cyamod and love it. really want 2.1 but Youtube and Video Camera are 2 things that you wont have.

omg dude idk what i did the first time wrong but i got this rom running so smooth now and the main reason i have it its for the voice text input idk if it came with the rom but i happen to have the apk and know how to install it, and the accuracy is amazing i can say a whole sentence and it gets it right... so much for typing now :)
