  • Thumbs up if when the which showed up you stopped paying attention to what Alton said XD

  • can we get twice as much good eats, and you can keep your programs with bobby flay?

  • I don't put mushrooms in my sauce. There's no need for fecal-growth in my sauce. Nope, I substitute with pork sausage. Works quite nicely.

  • @MaxxTheMerciless My bad...I meant Italian Sausage.

  • "then just, smack the bujjeebers out of it"

  • i love this show

  • love the theme version during the beginning of the video.

  • I'd do the witch.. Just sayin'...

  • I usually don't eat meat, but if this butcher is gonna give it to me... oh well!

  • that is a sexy butcher.

  • spagetti isnt gonna disappear like the doodoo in my house, its my favorite food ^-^

  • why do people even acknowledge trolls, I wonder. Ignore them and they shall perish mwaha! jk. Anyways, Good Eats Rocks!

  • Every single card said spaghetti and meat sauce btw

  • HE SPEAKS FRENCH!i need a lesson

  • kimchi pierogies....hmm...i think that actually sounds good ^^

  • damn fine italian accent.

  • 'Good Eats' is one of the best cooking shows out there. Not only is Alton Brown funny and entertaining, but his intelligence keeps me glued to his shows. No matter if you're a novice cook or a professional chef, Alton is a wonderful teacher. I learn something every day and still have a great time watching him. I don't eat meat but he makes those dishes sing.

  • this recipe is vile

  • @turtles12 how

  • @sharpezor

everything about it besides the tomatoes honestly, but if you have to ask how you're the type of white trash that this show is aimed towards

  • @turtles12 How's being a pretentious little twat working out for you? Sorry you're lacking so much in your life to have to call people white trash on youtube. The point of the show was how to prepare the traditional American Spaghetti.

  • @sharpezor

I understand why you are mad but if you weren't white trash you would be a able to comprehend just how egregious this recipe is, and thus how warranted my comments were about it and anyone who isn't immediately repulsed by it

  • @turtles12 like you're some sort of culinary expert? i've tried this recipe and its actually good. i was just raised in a heavily italian family but i guess that doesn't mean anything when it comes to knowing great italian food, right? you're an elitist douchebag. fuck off.

  • @TimTheReaper

then you are lowlife wop scum white trash? It doesn't take a culinary expert to see that ketchup and everything else in this is vile. Did you even watch the episode stupid? Its called American Classics for a reason, because this isn't Italian at all and he readily admits that, what he does not admit is that this is vile shit, I mean christ you have a dragon ball z profile picture

  • @turtles12 first of all, go fuck yourself. wop is OUR word, cocksucker. it came from Guappo, meaning someone flaunts a cocky attitude. secondly, go ahead and attack my intelligence. i know damn well that this is an american dish but it came into fruition by ITALIAN AMERICANS. And while it may not be purely italian in origin, family tradition MAKES it italian simply in the fact that I grew up with this cuisine. tua madre eh una pompinara.

  • @TimTheReaper Actually, the Chinese invented the noodles but the Italians threw in the red sauce. But Good Eats is an awesome show and Alton's food is the best.

  • ...zomg he spoke italian... squeeeee :D

  • @bloodmuffin1 And does it very well. I have such a 'foodie crush' on him since the first time I watched his show.

  • @InDeAskY1 i love the italian language. one day i'm gonna teach it :] maybe alton and i can converse one day.

  • @bloodmuffin1 I've told people that I want to be the female version of Alton Brown.

  • @InDeAskY1

    ...eew.

  • @Jcolinsol And why would that be 'eew'? I'm a female and I love the science behind food and why it reacts the way it does to different preparations. I still stand behind my statement. I love molecular gastronomy and watching Alton make Liquid Nitrogen avacado ice cream and Carbon Dioxide smoothies.

  • @InDeAskY1

Oh, it's just because Alton seems like such an uptight materialist creep. It's cool if you wanna do that stuff, it's just I'd hate to see someone get as obsessive compulsive as he is.

  • @Jcolinsol Too late. I'm already a Type A perfectionist with ADHD long before I knew Alton. I don't think he's uptight. Though, I've gotten better. I don't mind the ADHD as much, but the perfectionism does get stressful.

  • @InDeAskY1

    wabi sabi, m'lady

  • @Jcolinsol Unfortunately, I don't know what wabi sabi means. I'm getting old.

  • ahh, spaghetti, a favorite around my house. we always have it, home made and everything ^-^

  • Kimchi pierogies? Ech...

  • What's wrong with kimchi perogi's? =(

  • At 4:00 looks like they dubbed over the original audio.

Looks like originally, he said "I don't mean caPRI"

They dubbed over it to the correct pronunciation "I don't mean CAPri"

Anyone else notice? I deserve a cookie.

  • I had a whole set of handed down cast iron pans that went 'missing' when I moved. Now I'll have is the dutch oven...

  • 10:10

Then just.. Smack the bi-... Jeevers out of it!

  • Haha. Kimchi pierogies. Alton is a genius.

  • ok, so is his name All-Ton, or Al-Ton???

  • Al-ton

  • Al-ton, like Albert

  • @TheGorgeousgeorge26 I say "All-ton", and so does CNBC apparently:

    9YXcaNaAj4o

Or at least the voiceover guy and Donny Deutsch.

  • i know (eye balling ingredients)

  • @porn1978 : you know you liked it

  • @imsljr420 ...lol no

  • this is episode 3 not 4 of the season

  • I love this show, love ALTON (some of the kiddies get his name wrong, for some reason), but I'm convinced that any concept of "origin" is so mired in geographical happenstance and linguistic contingency, that anything can be "American," as long as people living in the US make it and eat it. Good eats knows no cultural criteria.

  • Kimchi Pierogies? Thanks for the idea :)

  • sounds interesting.... But there's no way in hell im going to f*** with my great grandmothers Pierogies.... they are real comfort food for me... T^T

  • I guess i was thinking of another ones name. Thanks for the correction.

  • I started watching this episode last night on TV but fell asleep only because i had to go to work today. So figured i would watch the rest here. I just love Spagetti and Meatballs or just plain Spagetti with sauce. Arron Brown is the best!

  • Its Alton.

  • -I love those glasses!

    -That cast iron is beeee-youtuful!

-He eye-balled his salt? Not very Alton, but refreshing.

  • Alton often eye-balls his ingredients.

  • *drools over the cast iron pot*

We love cast iron at our house. We've found nothing else that'll do great eggs, french toast, sausage, or pancakes.

  • @Legofan4ever88 Cast iron is the best for cooking. I try to use Teflon* sparingly.

  • jumpin johasin duck fat!

  • We also call it spagbol btw :)

  • Spagbol?

::::snickers::::: u crazy brits. Its spagetti and meatballs!!

  • Indeed, brits are kinda kooky.

  • Spaghetti with Meat Sauce is a favorite here in Australia too.

  • @knowsfords Im in Malaysia and the only reason spag with meat sauce is now a family tradition is because my dad, uncle and aunts studied in Australia in the 60s.

  • @asianmalaysian

In the 1960's - for your family to have studied and ( temporarily reside in Australia ) would need or have to be really rich to do so. Not many people could afford to go to Australia unless the government really sponsored you all the way.

  • @MDIS My dad went on a Colombo plan scholarship. I think he was the only chinese man in his class in medical scool. Besides, my grandpa worked in the fisheries department but was an extremely thrifty man putting his children's education above everything else. Many chinese and indian families in Malaysia did. My aunt still lives in Australia.

  • @asianmalaysian

My family is the other way round. I am happy that your grand-father worked really hard and that your father had went to further his studies and so did your family members , how i wished my family was like yours.

My grandparents were both rich but what did they do with the money ? Buy permanent properties in Malaysia - yes - they did that instead of sending the children overseas to further their studies.

I find it rather stupid. But i am happy for you.

  • @MDIS Everyone has their own way to provide for their family. Theres no right or wrong way. No, the family surname is not Cheah.

  • @asianmalaysian

What is your aunts name ?

Is her family surname Cheah ?
